Universitas Negeri Semarang/Berita/Tahap I, Penerimaan Calon Anggota KSR PMI Unit UNNES diikuti 97 Orang

Korps Sukarela Palang Merah Indonesia (KSR PMI) Unit Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) tahap pertama menerima calon anggota diikuti 97 orang untuk angkatan XXXI.

Suparno ketua panitia melaporkan, kegiatan ini merupakan agenda rutin tahunan yakni untuk regenerasi KSR PMI Unit UNNES sebagai upaya untuk mencetak relawan penerus yang dapat diandalkan.

Suparno menyampaikan, jumlah mahasiswa yang mendaftar sebanyak 277 orang, terus dilakukan Tes Wawancara, dan Tes Kesehatan tanggal 15 sampai dengan 17 Oktober sebanyak 167 orang dinyatakan lulus.

Kemudian, setelah dilakukan upacara penerimaan anggota baru tahap I tangggal 22 sampai dengan 23 Oktober diikuti 97 orang.

Koordinator Pendamping UKM Minat dan Kegemaran UNNES Drs Bambang Prishardoyo MSi saat membuka kegiatan menyampaikan, pilihan untuk menjadi bagian dari KSR PMI merupakan suatu langkah yang tepat. Selain dapat menjalankan misi kemanusiaan, ilmu yang didapatkan di KSR PMI juga dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menolong diri sendiri, keluarga, maupun lingkungan sekitar.

Bambang Prishardoyo berharap peserta dapat mengikuti kegiatan ini sampai selesai agar ilmu yang disampaikan pemateri dapat diterima semaksimal mungkin.

Setelah upacara pembukaan, peserta mendapatkan materi orientasi kepalangmerahan yang disampaikan oleh Wuri Widiyanti dari PMI Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Dalam materi ini, peserta diberikan pengetahuan seputar sejarah Palang Merah Internasional, sejarah ICRC, dan IFRC, serta Prinsip Dasar Gerakan Internasional Palang Merah, dan Bulan Sabit Merah.

Selanjutnya, peserta medapatkan materi evakuasi langsung praktik yang disampaikan oleh Novi Suci Purwandari selaku pelatih KSR UNNES 2016, dan Ayu Dwi Haryati anggota KSR angkatan XXX berupa pemindahan darurat (tarikan selimut, tarikan lengan, tarikan menjulang) dan pemindahan tidak darurat dengan menggunakan tandu.

Kemudian, materi ketiga disampaikan oleh Candra Dewi (angkatan XXVIII) dan Ayu Dwi Haryati (angkatan XXX) tentang gangguan umum, meliputi kedaruratan medis dan cedera sistem otot rangka yakni penanganan asma, epilepsi, histeria, hipotermia, pingsan, syok, mimisan, perawatan luka, dislokasi, dan terkilir.

Hari kedua, peserta mengikuti upacara penutupan oleh Dosen Pendamping KSR UNNES Dr dr Nugrahaningsih W H MKes.
