Artis yang juga budayawan Sujiwo Tejo akan menjadi pembicara dalam seminar memperingati Hari Pendidikan Nasional dengan tema “Mendidik Generasi Jawa Milenial: Tantangan bagi Pendidik di Era Teknologi Informasi” yang diselenggarakan Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Jawa Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), Selasa, 2 Mei 2017, di Gedung B6 kampus Sekaran, Gunungpati, Kota Semarang.

Selain Sujiwo Tejo, hadir pula sebagai narasumber seminar tersebut Bupati Kudus H Musthofa. “Sujiwo Tejo akan berbicara dengan subtema Mendidik dengan Seni, sedangkan Musthofa akan berbicara perihal Budaya Mandiri dan Ekonomi Kreatif ala Kudus,” ujar Ketua Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Jawa, Widodo MPd, Kamis, 20 April 2017.

Widodo mengatakan, selain kondang sebagai artis, Sujiwo Tejo yang juga penulis kolom budaya di Harian Jawa Pos itu juga aktif menulis buku. Ia antara lain menulis buku Dalang Edan (2002), Eling Endonesia Deui (2014), dan Rahvayana (2014). Di layar kaca, dalang kelahiran Jember, Jawa Timur, 54 tahun lalu itu juga kerap menjadi narasumber dalam “Indonesia Lawyers Club” yang digawangi Karni Ilyas, sejak 2010.

“Sujiwo Tejo bisa melihat permasalahan kebangsaan dari perspektif kebudayaan. Sehingga tepat kiranya dalam konteks dunia pendidikan hari ini, kita mendengarkan pandangan-pandangan dia dan berdiskusi bersama terkait berbagai tantangan dan permasalahan pendidikan hari ini dan esok,” ujar Widodo.

Ia menambahkan, sebagai Bupati Kudus, Musthofa selama ini dikenal mengusung program kemandirian untuk masyarakat ekonomi menengah ke bawah. Bupati yang menjabat dua periode sejak 2008 ini bahkan telah diganjar sebagai Tokoh Inspiratif oleh Kamar Dagang dan Industri (Kadin) Jawa Tengah karena dinilai aktif memberdayakan masyarakat melalui berbagai usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) di Kudus. Dalam berbagai kesempatan, Musthofa juga berbagi pengalaman ke sejumlah kampus.

Pendamping Himpunan Mahasiswa Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Jawa FBS UNNES, Widodo MHum, mengatakan seminar terbuka untuk umum. Ia mengatakan selain menghadirkan Sujiwo Tejo dan Musthofa pada sesi kedua seminar, sesi pertama akan diisi oleh dua profesor, yaitu Teguh Supriyanto (Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Jawa UNNES) dan Suwarna (Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta).

“Seminar dapat diikuti oleh guru, mahasiswa, dosen, staf dinas, maupun pemerhati dan masyarakat umum yang memiliki perhatian terhadap dunia pendidikan dan segala permasalahannya. Seminar ini menjadi penting diikuti, lebih-lebih untuk menggarisbawahi betapa tetap aktual dan pentingnya perspektif kebudayaan dalam  menjawab berbagai permasalahan pendidikan di era teknologi informasi,” kata dia.

Ia menambahkan, selain menjadi peserta seminar, terbuka pula kesempatan mengirim makalah untuk dimuat dalam proceedings seminar. Keterangan mengenai pendaftaran dapat diperoleh melalui liflet yang dapat diunduh melalui TAUTAN INI.
