Jurusan Sosiologi dan Antropologi Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Semarang (Sosant FIS Unnes) sejak tahun 2013 telah menjalin kerjasama dengan Jurusan Antropologi Universitas Gajahmada (UGM) dan Jurusan Antropologi Heidelberg University, Jerman.

Kerjasama dilakukan dalam bentuk Proyek Riset Masyarakat Rural di Indonesia, yang bertema ”Producing Wealth and Poverty in Indonesia’s New Rural Economies”. Gagasan kerjasama tersebut tercetus pada saat Jurusan Sosant menyelenggarakan Studium General bagi mahasiswa baru angkatan 2012 dengan menghadirkan Dr Pudjo Semedi MA, dosen Antropologi UGM yang juga merupakan dekan Fakultas Ilmu Budaya UGM.

“Tujuan dari program Riset Kolaborasi ini adalah untuk mengasah kemampuan dan ketrampilan melakukan penelitian mengenai masyarakat rural (pedesaan) bagi mahasiswa yang menggeluti disiplin ilmu Antropologi” tutur Kuncoro Bayu Prasetyo MA, Kalab Sosant Unnes kepada unnes.ac.id.

Pada tahun 2013 riset kolaborasi berbentuk Latihan Penelitian Lapangan (Field School) di masyarakat Kabupaten Sanggau, Kalimantan Barat. Riset ini melibatkan 10 mahasiswa Jurusan Sosant Unnes, 41 Mahasiswa Jurusan Antropologi UGM, dan 6 Mahasiswa Heidelberg University, Jerman. Riset berlangsung selama 1 bulan sejak tanggal 6 Juli – 4 Agustus 2013. Mereka melakukan penelitian bersama dan dipecah dalam tim – tim kecil kemudian disebarkan di beberapa desa penelitian.

Output dari kegiatan Field School ini adalah setiap mahasiswa harus menghasilkan satu artikel hasil penelitian mereka yang siap dipublikasikan dalam jurnal ilmiah. Topik – topik yang diangkat oleh mahasiswa Sosant Unnes antara lain tentang Keberadaan Anak sebagai Aset Produksi Keluarga Petani, Perempuan dalam Ekonomi Keluarga Pedesaan, Ekologi Budaya Masyarakat Meliau, Ekspansi Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit dan Dampaknya bagi Masyarakat Lokal, Keberadaan Masyarakat Transmigran Jawa di Meliau, Kehidupan Ekonomi masyarakat Suku Melayu, dan Perilaku Konsumsi Masyarakat Dayak di Meliau.

Tahun ini kerjasama tersebut kembali berlanjut. Riset kali ini masih dalam bentuk Field School di Kecamatan Pulosari, Pemalang. Kegiatan berlangsung mulai tanggal 14 hingga 28 Januari 2014. Sebanyak 12 Desa di Kecamatan Pulosari menjadi lokasi riset kali ini.

Dalam riset ini kali melibatkan 10 mahasiswa Jurusan Sosant Unnes, 90 mahasiswa Jurusan Antropologi UGM. “Sebenarnya minat mahasiswa Jurusan Sosant Unnes untuk mengikuti program ini sangat besar, namun karena keterbatasan sumber daya yang dimiliki jurusan, maka hanya 10 mahasiswa yang dapat dikirimkan dalam proyek kerjasama ini” tutur Kuncoro.

Menurut Siti Chusniyah salah satu mahasiswa peserta program riset tahun 2013, kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat bagi mahasiswa. Apalagi kegiatan seperti ini memberikan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk berinteraksi dengan universitas lain serta menambah pengalaman terutama di bidang penelitian. Besar harapan Siti, Unnes dapat menyelenggarakan kegiatan serupa dengan Unnes sebagai penyelenggara utama.

“Mudah – mudahan kegiatan kerjasama akademik semacam ini dapat terus terjalin sehingga cita – cita Unnes sebagai Perguruan Tinggi kelas dunia akan segera terwujud. Untuk itu Jurusan Sosiologi dan Antropologi FIS Unnes juga mengharapkan dukungan dari pihak Universitas agar dapat mensupport kegiatan kerjasama akademis ini di masa mendatang” tambah Kuncoro.

    Perlu mendapatkan perhatian khusus itu dari pejabat terkait, sehingga Visi Unnes menjadi Univ bertaraf Internasional semakin terlihat jelas ya dengan berkolaborasi riset bersama PT yang hebat-hebat

    ada sedikit kerancuan di berita ini, mulai dari judul sudah terlihat lebih wow daripada kenyataannya.
    pernyataan saya mungkin sedikit mengecewakan tetapi sebagai bagian dr pelaku kegiatan riset yang di KalBar dan di Pemalang, saya lumayan mengerti bagaimana keadaannya.
    Jadi, Sos-Ant Unnes memang punya hubungan baik dan kerjasama dg Antro Budaya UGM. Antro Budaya UGM lah yang bekerjasama dg Hiedelberg Univ. karena membawa serta 5 mahasiswa dr univ tsb.
    Jadi, sebaiknya judul dan keterangan yg tepat adalah Sosiologi dan Antropologi Unnes Bekerjasama dg Antropologi Budaya UGM dalam dalam Bidang Penelitian”

    mahasiswa Sos-Ant (seharusnya) butuh di lepas di “alamnya”.
    tapi kebutuhan orang berbeda2 😀

  5. Well, komentar saya yang di atas bisa dianggap sebagai komentar positif atau negatif, tergantung sudut pandang yang baca. Komentar yang mengandung keluhan, dan juga kebanggaan terhadap fasilitas dan dukungan kepada lembaga pendidikan dimana saya menimba ilmu…
    harapannya saya sebagai mahasiswa mewakili diri sendiri dan mungkin mahasiswa lain yang juga tentunya ingin maju, ingin berkembang tidak hanya di dalam lingkup univ. kita saja bisa difasilitasi dan diberikan dukungan yang sesuai begitu.
    Dalam riset yang kami lakukan bersama teman-teman dari luar memang membuat kami menjadi kaya akan pengalaman, dan didikan dosen membuat kami kaya akan pengetahuan yang menjadi pedoman saat terjun ke lapangan. Semoga jurusan saya, Sos-Ant tercinta bisa mendapat perhatian lebih lah dari Unnes karena mahasiswa sosiologi dan antropologi butuh sering-sering pergi ke lapangan. Tanpa adanya dukungan dari pihak birokrasi Unnes, ya kami mahasiswa tidak bisa melangkah lebih jauh, lebih lebar dan menjadikan Unnes jadi salah satu univ. riset bertaraf nasional dan internasional.
