Untuk melaksanakan revolusi mental ada tiga dimensi dalam pembanguanan manusia yakni cerdas, sehat, dan berkepribadian. Bangunlah jiwanya, bangunlah badannya, untuk Indonesia raya.

Staf Ahli Menteri Bidang Relevansi dan Produktivitas Kementerian Riset, Teknologi dan Pendidikan Tinggi RI Dr Ir Agus Puji Prasetyono MEng menyampaikan itu saat menjadi nara sumber pada Seminar Nasional “Strategi Implementasi Revolusi Mental Pemuda Dalam Mewujudkan Ketahanan Nasional” Rabu, (9/9) di gedung Moch Lili Rochli (Akmil) Magelang.

Seminar terselenggara kerjasama antara Akademi militer (Akmil) dengan Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) diikuti 750 orang dari Akmil, AAL Surabaya, UGM, Perguruan Tinggi di Magelang, Unnes, dan Kepala Sekolah SMP, SMA, MA di lingkungan Magelang.

Dr Agus juga menyampaikan, manusia Indonesia yang berkepribadian yaitu Cerdas otak, sehat fisik, dan berbudi pekerti yang luhur untuk melakukan kehendak.

Sedangkan manusia yang berkarakter yakni percaya diri, memahami pribadinya, berani tampil beda, berani mengambil risiko, mampu mengatasi masalah, tahan malang, disiplin, motivasi tinggi, visioner, dan tawakal serta iklas, kata Dr Agus.

Mayjen TNI Hartomo Gubernur Akmil diwakili Wakil Gubernur Akmil Kolonel Infantri Dudung Abdurachman SE MM menyampaikan, revolusi mental harus menjadi sebuah gerakan nasional.

Menurut Kolonel Infantri Dudung, revolusi mental itu dimulai dari masing-masing diri kita sendiri. Kemudian dimulai dengan lingkungan keluarga dan lingkungan tempat tinggal, dilingkungan kerja terus meluas menjadi lingkungan kota dan lingkungan negara.

“Kita harus berani mengendalikan masa depan bangsa kita sendiri dengan restu Allah SWT,” kata Kolonel Infantri Dudung.

Sebab, sesungguhnya Allah tidak mengubah nasib suatu bangsa kecuali bangsa itu mengubah apa yang ada pada diri mereka. Insya Allah usaha mulia ini dapat berkembang semakin meluas sehingga nanti benar-benar menjadi sebuah gerakan nasional seperti yang diamanatkan oleh Bung Karno, jelas Kolonel Infantri Dudung.

Sementara itu, Rektor Unnes Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum diwakili Pembantu Rektor Bidang Pengembangan dan Kerjasama Prof YL Sukestiyarno PhD menyampaikan, ada tiga kunci pendidikan karakter sebagai bagian gerakan revolusi mental yakni pendidikan karakter yang menumbuhkan kesadaran sebagai makhluk dan hamba Tuhan Yang Maha Esa.

Kemudia, pendidikan karakter yang terkait dengan keilmuan, dan pendidikan karakter yang menumbuhkan rasa cinta dan bangga menjadi warga negara Indonesia.
