Rahman Mustapa, mahasiswa Jurusan Sejarah Universitas Negeri Gorontalo belum puas dengan program pertukaran mahasiswa yang selama satu semester kemarin ia jalani di Universitas Negeri Semarang.

“Saya sangat ingin menyelesaikan kuliah S1 di Unnes. Namun karena program pertukaran mahasiswa ini hanya berlaku satu semester, ya, harus saya taati,” ujarnya, ketika acara pelepasan mahasiswa program pertukaran mahasiswa, Rabu (29/1), di rektorat kampus Sekaran.

Selain Rahman, mahasiswa lain yang mengikuti program ini dari Universitas Negeri Gorontalo adalah Zainudin T Mahmud. Ia mengambil Jurusan Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn). Pelepasan itu sekaligus menandai berakhirnya masa kuliah mereka di Universitas Konservasi.

Menempuh studi selama satu semester, Rahman dan Zainudin punya prestasi akademik yang membanggakan. Mereka masing-masing mendapat indeks prestasi komulatif (IPK) 3,4 dan 3,36.

Mereka secara resmi dilepas oleh Kepala Biro Administrasi Akademik Kemahasiswaan dan Kerja Sama Heri Kismaryono MM. Hadir pula Kabag Kerja Sama Supaat MM, Karyono MHum (Kepala Laboratorium Sejarah), Mohammad Aris Munandar MM (Kepala Laboratorium PKn), Ristina Yudhanti SH MHum (dosen Jurusan Hukum), dan Pembantu Dekan Bidang Kemahasiswaan Dian Eswati Ismail MH dari Universitas Negeri Gorontalo.

Sebagai program pertukaran, mahasiswa Unnes yang kuliah di Universitas Negeri Gorontalo adalah Sigit Pandu Cahyono, (Jurusan Politik dan Kewarganegaraan) dan Amna Aulia (Jurusan Sejarah). Mereka juga telah selesai dan dilepas Kamis (23/1) malam di universitas itu. Hadir dari Unnes dosen Jurusan Hukum Ristina Yudhanti SH MHum.

Banyak Pengalaman

Rahman mengaku, mengikuti perkuliahan di Unnes tak mendapat kendala berarti. “Kendalanya paling dari segi bahasa daerah dan makanan di sini yang cenderung serba asin dan manis,” kelakar Rahman.

Mahasiswa Unnes, menurut Rahman, dalam pergaulan sehari-hari banyak memakai bahasa Jawa. “Saya kurang mengerti tentang bahasa Jawa itu, jadi kalau teman-teman tertawa, ya, saya ikut tertawa tapi tidak tahu artinya,” katanya.

Hal yang sama juga dialami Sigit Pandu Cahyono dan Amna Aulia saat pertama kali melakukan perkuliahan di Universitas Negeri Gorontalo, yakni kurang mengerti dialek di daerah itu dan makanan yang serba pedas. Bahkan mereka sempat kaget saat makan pisang goreng yang diberi sambal. Hal itu rupanya  sudah jamak dilakukan di Gorontalo.

“Saya memerlukan waktu dua bulan untuk penyesuaian. Selama dua bulan itu saya masak mi instan dan makan roti. Kayak landa–seperti orang Belanda,” kelakarnya.

    …program yg baik..lanjutkan..tapi :
    1. mhn disosialisasikan pd dosen di jurusan yg ditempati biar tdk merasa asing dngn mhswa dr luar dan tdk khlngn mhswa yg dikirim keluar.
    2. mata kuliah yg sesuai atau equivalen harap dicek dan diperhitungkan dulu sebelum berangkat jngn sampai mhswa yg dikirim justru menjadi korban krna sedikitnya mata kuliah yg bisa diambil dan diakui dikampus asal..shngga mhswa hrs ketinggalan mata kuliah pntg (wajib dan syarat mata kuliah lain misal syarat untuk PPL dan skripsi).
    3. lembaga harus mencarikan solusi jika kasus sprti nomor 2 diatas terjadi..misalnya dengan mengupayakan dan membiayai mhswa utk ikut semester antara (tentunya stlh koordinasi dengan dosen dijurusan)…trims, semoga sukses adik2 mhswa
