Ibadah puasa Ramadan memiliki banyak keutamaan, dan diantara keutamaan tersebut sebagian besar manfaatnya merupakan untuk diri kita sendiri.

Manfaat atau hikmah puasa itu bagian dari memakmurkan ramadan dengan berbagai kajian puasa untuk meningkatkan keimanan dan ketaqwaan kita semuanya.

Rektor Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum menyampaikan itu saat memberi sambutan pada Tarawih Keliling Badan Amalan Islam (BAI) Provinsi Jawa Tengah (Jateng) dengan tema Rahasia, Makna, dan Manfaat Puasa, Kamis (9/6) malam di Auditorium kampus Sekaran Gunungpati.

Bertindak sebagai imam Drs H Multazam Ahmad MPd, dan penceramah H Iskandar MSi CI RFP dosen IAIN Salatiga.

Prof Fathur juga mengemukakan, manfaat puasa yang kita dapatkan ini tentunya berkaitan erat dengan amalan puasa yang kita jalani, amalan itu bukan hanya menahan makan dan minum saja, melainkan juga menjalankan amalan ibadah ramadan lainnya diantaranya bersedekah, itikaf, dan silaturahmi.

Dengan harapan kita semuanya bisa mencapai derajat taqwa, bisa mendapatkan rahmat, berkah, dan ampunan dari Allah.

Prof Fathur menjelaskan, UNNES saat ini telah melakukan pembangunan beberapa gedung dan renovasi yang dinanai oleh Islamic Development Bank (IDB) untuk fasilitas mahasiswa, agar mahasiswa UNNES bisa meningkatkan prestasinya baik prestasi akademik mau pun nonakademik. dan semuanya menjadi mahasiswa berkarakter.

alhamdulillah sejumlah 36 ribu mahasiswa UNNES bisa kuliah dengan baik. Saat ini sedang melakukan penerimaan mahasiswa baru melalui jalur SNMPTN, UNNES menempati urutan ke-8 Perguruan Tinggi di Indonesia. kemudian ada SBMPTN, dan Selaksi Mandiri.

Tahun ini UNNES memberikan perhatian kepada para putra putri diseluruh Indonesia yang memiliki kemampuan khusus diantaranya memberikan bantuan beasiswa kepada masyarakat dari kalangan pesantren yang memiliki kemampuan membaca Alquran minimal hafal 20 jus diterima di UNNES dengan sistem awirmasi.

Selain itu, mahasiswa tersebut juga memperoleh beasiswa dari Rumal Amal UNNES. ini merupakan bentuk komitmen kepedulian sosial para dosen dan karyawan setiap menerima gaji remunerasi dipotong 2,5 persen.

H Iskandar MSi CI RFP penceramah menyampaikan, seandainya umat islam menyadari betul bahwa pada bulan puasa ini pahalanya dilipatgandakan insya Allah Indonesia tidak ada orang miskin. Asalkan umat islamnya mau sadar.

“Kalau umat islamnya mau sadar Indonesia tidak ada kemiskinan, syaratnya cuma satu yakni umat islam harus shodaqoh setiap hari satu atau dua batang rokok saja,” kata Iskandar.

Menurut Iskandar, satu batang rokok Rp 1.500 kalau dua batang rokok cuma Rp 3.000, jelas Iskandar.

Iskandar menerangkan, kalau penduduk Indonesia yang beragama Islam katakanlah dari 235 juta itu 80 persen, maka penduduk Islam Indonesia itu sekitar 180 juta.

Kemudian, kalau kita ambil 50 persennya saja ada 90 juta penduduk. Jika satu hari menyumbang Rp 3.000 untuk proses pengayaan orang Indonesia berarti Rp 3.000 x 90. 000.000. Ini hasilnya milyaran per hari.

Pertanyaan yang menjadi probema kita yakni maukah umat Islam itu mengembangkan keislamannya membantu saudara-saudaranya.
