Ketua Program Studi Sastra Jawa Universitas Indonesia, Dr Dwi Puspitorini MHum, memberikan kuliah umum di Program Studi Sastra Jawa Universitas Negeri Semarang, kampus Sekaran, Gunungpati, Semarang, Rabu, 1 November 2017. Kesempatan ini menjadi upaya penguatan keilmuan kedua program studi.

Di hadapan puluhan mahasiswa, Dwi Puspitorini memberikan kuliah umum mengenai “Perkembangan Kajian Linguistik Jawa Kuno”. Perempuan kelahiran Magelang ini antara lain berbicara mengenai istilah, sejarah, dan perkembangan Jawa kuno di Jawa Tengah, Jawa Timur, dan Bali. Hadir pula dalam kesempatan tersebut, antara lain, Koordinator Prodi Sastra Jawa UNNES Ermi Dyah Kurnia MHum, juga dosen prodi yang sama, yakni Hardyanto MPd dan Yusro Edy Nugroho MHum.

Menurut Ermi, pada Mei 2017, pihaknya mengunjungi Prodi Sastra Jawa UI untuk meningkatkan kerja sama dalam hal pembahasan draf Uji Kemampuan Bahasa Jawa (UKBJ). “Kunjungan balasan ini menjadi kesempatan yang baik bagi kedua prodi untuk saling memperkuat, baik dari sisi keilmuan maupun kelembagaan. Banyak hal bisa dibagi dari hasil pengalaman kedua prodi yang sama-sama mencetak sarjana sastra Jawa ini,” ujarnya.

Pada Kamis (2/11), Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Jawa UNNES bekerja sama dengan Asosiasi Tradisi Lisan (ATL) Jawa Tengah menyelenggarakan Seminar Nasional Kearifan Jawa di Dekanat Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni. Seminar menghadirkan pembicara dosen Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta yang juga Ketua Himpunan Sarjana Kesusastraan (Hiski) Prof Suwardi Endraswara MHum, dosen Universitas Indonesia yang juga Ketua ATL Pusat Dr Pudentia MPSS, dan dosen Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Jawa UNNES Bambang Indiatmoko PhD.

Hadir pula dalam kesempatan itu, Ketua ATL Jateng yang juga Koordinator Prodi Pendidikan Seni Pascasarjana UNNES Prof Tjetjep Rohendi Rohidi MA dan Kepala Bidang Kebudayaan Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kota Semarang Arif Tri Laksono MHum.
