Universitas Negeri Semarang mengadakan Evaluasi dan Workshop “Pengembangan Kinerja Dosen dalam Rangka Peningkatan Produktivitas Profesor dan Lektor Kepala UNNES 2017” pada Selasa, (14/11) di Ruang Senat, Gedung Rektorat Kampus UNNES Sekaran.

Turut hadir dalam acara ini adalah Rektor UNNES, Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum beserta jajaran Wakil Rektor, Majelis Professor, Anggota senat UNNES, Dekan, dan pejabat terkait di lingkungan UNNES. Bertindak sebagai pembicara adalah Prof Dr Bunyamin Maftuh MPd MA, selaku Direksi Karier dan Kompetensi Sumber Daya Manusia Kemenristekdikti.

Dalam sambutannya, Prof Fathur menyatakan bahwa upaya pembangunan UNNES telah sampai di jalan yang benar, mulai dari prestasi UNNES dalam jajaran peringkat dunia (UI Green Metric, Webometric, dan Akreditasi AUN-QA), akreditasi institusi UNNES yang telah menjadi AIPT A, serta jumlah jurnal yang internasional yang terbanyak se-Indonesia (83).

Meskipun memiliki prestasi tersebut, Prof Fathur menghimbau para Professor dan Lektor untuk bekerja keras meningkatkan jumlah publikasi pada wadah yang dimiliki untuk bisa meningkatkan reputasi universitas.

Selanjutnya, Prof Bunyamin menjelaskan materi mengenai peningkatan produktivitas universitas, khususnya UNNES untuk menjadi World Class University. Dalam penjelasannya, beliau menyayangkan jumlah professor yang masih kurang di beberapa PTN.

Oleh karena itu, beliau menghimbau para dosen, lektor, dan lektor kepala UNNES untuk mampu meningkatkan jumlah publikasi internasional. Dengan peningkatan jumlah publikasi internasional, hal ini tidak hanya akan meningkatkan kinerja pribadi ataupun reputasi universitas, namun juga meningkatkan jumlah professor yang mungkin dapat diajukan oleh universitas.
