Seminar yang mengusung tema Establishing Collaboration with Educational Institutions and Industrial Partners itu diawali dengan penandatanganan Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) dan Kemitraan antara Institute For Pulsed Power and Microwave Technology Karlsruhe Institute of Technology Germany dan Fakultas Teknik Unnes.

Sedangkan Dr Guido Link dari Karlsruhe Institute of Technology Germany memaparkan tentang Microwave Materials Processing at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
