Kurikulum yang baik harus mampu mengikuti dinamika masyarakat. Pasalnya, sebagai salah satu produk pendidikan, kurikulum dirancang untuk membantu proses belajar masyarakat. Kurikulum juga harus mampu mengamodasi kebutuhan aktual sekaligus kebutuhan masyarakat di masa yang akan datang.

Demikian disampaikan profesor pendidikan moral Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) Prof Dr Masrukhi MPd dalam kunjungannya ke SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Semarang, Senin (20/1). Didampingi dosen Matematika Drs Sugiarto MPd, Prof Masrukhi menyampaikan hal itu di hadapan 41 guru sekolah tersebut.

Dibungkus dengan tema “Sharing Experience – Identifikasi Masalah Penerapan Kurikulum 2013”, kunjungan dalam program Professor Go to School ini memang diniatkan untuk berbagi pengalaman implementasi Kurikulum 2013. Berbagai kesulitan dan kendala diharapkan terungkap sekaligus teratasi melalui program ini.  Tidak heran jika para guru memanfaatkan forum ini untuk mengonsultasikan berbagai masalah yang selama ini djumpai.

Guru mata pelajaran Biologi Tri Indah Hertanti, misalnya, menyampaikan pengalamannya mengajarkan biologi dengan prosedur tindakan mengamati, menanya, mencoba, mengolah informasi, dan mengkomunikasikan. Menurutnya, tidak semua pelajaran dapat menerapkan prinsip itu. “Pada pelajaran sains siswa bisa mengamati, namun pada pelajaran lain, misalnya bahasa Indonesia, mengamati itu bisa berarti mencerap, mendengar, atau merasa,” katanya.

Program Profesor Go to School telah dilaksanakan sejak awal November tahun lalu. Sebanyak 45 profesor Unnes mendampingi 45 sekolah di dua kota dan empat kabupaten.
