Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) menggandeng tiga perguruan tinggi di Semarang untuk akses perpustakaan dalam pemanfaatan publikasi lokal guna mendukung upaya pencegahan dan pemberantasan korupsi.

Tiga PT tersebut adalah Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes), Universitas Diponegoro (Undip), dan Universitas Katolik Soegijapranata. Naskah nota kesepahaman ditandatangani oleh Rektor Unnes Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum, Rektor Undip Prof Sudharto P Hadi MES PhD, Rektor Unika Prof Dr Y Budi Widianarko MSc, dan Wakil Ketua KPK Adnan Pandu Praja di Hotel Gumaya, Semarang, Selasa (24/6).

Prof Fathur mengatakan, perguruan tinggi belum sepenuhnya mengambil peran yang strategis dalam upaya transformasi sosial sebelum bisa menjadi pusat bagi pencerahan. “Jadi yang selalu menjadi semangat universitas adalah meluluskan mahasiswa yang cerdas dan berkarakter,” ujar dia.

Pada Tri Darma Perguruan Tinggi tentang Darma Pendidikan, Prof Fathur mengatakan, PT harus melakukan berbagai macam inovasi. “Dalam kaitannya dengan pemberantasan korupsi, harus dilakukan melalui perkuliahan antikorupsi, inovasi pendidikan antikorupsi, dan pencegahan antikorups,” katanya.

Sedangkan untuk Darma Penelitian, banyak penelitian PT baik S1, S2, maupun S3 yang muaranya akan menghasilakan kebaruan. Dengan kerja sama ini PT harus pula mendorong mahasiswa dan dosen untuk mengambil peran. Salah satunya, kata Prof Fathur, mengambil tema-tema yang terkait dengan korupsi dalam bidang studi masing-masing.

“Dengan banyaknya referensi tentang korupsi itu, harapannya bisa memberi suatu pemahaman tentang nila antikorupsi yang semakin luas,” tandasnya.

Prof Fathur berharap kerja sama ini bisa terus berlanjut. “Ke depan, antara KPK dan perguruan tinggi akan makin sinergis. Keduanya dapat saling mengakses publikasi maupun jurnal. Lebih bersyukur lagi jika KPK menyediakan jurnal internasional khusus terkait korupsi,” harapnya.

Menyikapi hal itu, Adnan Pandu Praja menyatakan kerja sama ini dijalin karena KPK memandang selama ini banyak publikasi lokal di PT, seperti skripsi, tesis, disertasi, hasil kajian dan penelitian yang berkaitan dengan pemberantasan korupsi. “Maka dipandang perlu KPK bekerja sama dengan perguruan tinggi,” katanya.

Peran kampus, kata Adnan, dalam upaya pemberantasan korupsi sangat signifikan. Tetapi, menurutnya, selama ini baru PT di pulau Jawa yang bergairah melakukan upaya-upaya pemberantasan korupsi, seraya memasukkan materi pemberantasan dan pencegahan korupsi pada setiap perkuliahan mereka.

Sementara itu, PT di luar Jawa, dia mengatakan, masih bersifat “musiman”. “Sehingga perlu sentuhan-sentuhan dalam memberikan perkuliahan kepada mahasiswanya terkait pencegahan dan pemberantasan korupsi,” jelasnya.

Adnan memberi apresiasi pada tiga PT di Semarang yang selama ini sudah menerapkan persoalan pencegahan dan pemberantasan korupsi pada mahasiswanya. “Kami berharap kampus-kampus mampu berkontribusi dalam upaya pencegahan dan pemberantasan korupsi melalui kajian-kajian yang dihasilkan,” kata Adnan.

    Selamat kepada Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum (Unnes), Prof Sudharto P Hadi MES PhD (Undip) dan Prof Dr Y Budi Widianarko MSc (Unika) yang sudah menjadi pelopor dalam pemberantasan korupsi. Perlu adanya keseriusan semua elemen dalam pemberantasn korupsi, termasuk perguruan tinggi. Apalagi pada peringatan hari Antikorupsi dan Ham Sedunia (9 Desember 2013) Rektor Unnes Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum mendapatkan penghargaan dari Presiden SBY sebagai pejabat terbersih dari kalangan akademisi.
