Sejumlah 58 siswa SMA PGRI 1 Bekasi berkunjung ke Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes), Rabu (25/2) kamarin. Mereka sengaja mengunjungi Universitas Konservasi terkait dengan penerimaan mahasiswa baru dan ingin mengenal lebih dekat.

Rombongan siswa dipimpin oleh Dra Endang Puji Rahayu MM diterima Kepala Biro Administrasi Akademik Kemahasiswaan dan Kerjasama (BAAKK) Drs Heri Kismaryono MM Rabu (25/2) di Rektorat kampus Sekaran Gunungpati.

Dra Endang Puji Rahayu menyampaikan, pihaknya ingin mengetahui tentang cara penerimaan mahasiswa baru, beasiswa, dan keunggulan Unnes sehingga anak didik kami bisa termotivasi.

Heri Kismaryono MM menanggapi hal tersebut menjelaskan, ada tiga jalur penerimaan mahasiswa baru di Unnes yaitu Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SNMPTN), Seleksi Bersama Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SBMPTN) dan Seleksi Mandiri yang disebut Seleksi Penerimaan Mahasiswa Unnes (SPMU).

Berbagai beasiswa tersedia bagi calon mahasiswa baru yang kurang mampu dan berprestasi diantaranya Bidikmisi, PPA, Supersemar, Djarum, BI dan Pertamina Foundation.

Khusus untuk beasiswa bidikmisi (bagi siswa yang berprestasi namun dari keluarga yang kurang mampu) 2015 ini Unnes akan menerima 1.850 orang selama delapan semester tanpa membayar sepersenpun alias gratis, bahkan tiap bulan memperoleh biaya hidup sebesar Rp600 ribu.

Unnes sebagai Universitas Konservasi menurut green metric UI 2015, Unnes menjadi kampus terhijau peringkat 3 nasional dan peringkat 70 dunia. Di samping itu, banyak kerj sama baik dalam negeri maupun luar negeri yang telah terjalin di antaranya Amerika, Thailand, Australia dan Malaysia. Intan
