Apakah ada di antara anda hari ini yang sedih? Mudah-mudahan semuanya bahagia. Rektor Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) Prof Fathur Rokhman MHum menanyakan hal itu kepada peserta apel pagi Senin (12/8) tadi pagi. Ia menghimbau dosen dan karyawan Unnes untuk menjalani hari pertama kerja setelah libur lebaran dengan gembira.

Apa pasal? Menurut profesor sosiolinguistik ini, setelah Idul Fitri manusia layaknya baru usai menjalani peperangan. “Karena kita semuanya sudah keluar dari sebuah peperangan, dan kita semuanya mendapatkan kemenangan. Orang yang mendapatkan kemenangan itu ada tiga indikator yakni suci, bahagia, dan kebaikan,” kata Prof Fathur Rokhman.

Ia mengisahkan kisah Rasulullah ketika pulang setelah perang Badar. Usai perang akbar itu Rasulullah mengatakan kepada sahabatnya, anda akan menghadapi perang yang lebih besar lagi dari pada perang Badar yakni perang melawan diri sendiri atau melawan hawa nafsu.

“Saya ucapkan selamat kepada kita semua yang mendapatkan kemenangan, dan menjaga kemenangan ini untuk melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari di kampus universitas konservasi ini. Selain itu, kekompakan dan kerukunan juga menjadi suatu modal bagi kita,” lanjutnya.

Rektor menyampaikan penghargaan kepada dosen dan karyawan Unnes yang telah bekerja dan menghasilkan sejumlah prestasi. Menurutnya, sejumlah kegiatan penting telah dilaksanakan Unnes belum lama ini. Pada bidang akademik, telah diselenggarakan seleksi masuk mahasiswa baru. Pada bidang administrasi dan keuangan telah ditetapkan Uang Kuliah Tunggal (UKT) serta komplain yang mengiringinya. Adapun di bidang III, juga telah diselenggarakan berbagai kegiatan mahasiswa.

Mewakili pimpinan Unnes Rektor juga menyampaikan permohonan maaf kepada warga Unnes. “Oleh karena itu saya mengucapkan Taqobalallahu Minna Waminkum Wasiamana Wasiamakum. Minal aidin wal faizin mohon maaf lahir dan batin atas kesalahan di dalam saya memimpin kurang lebih dua bulan ini.

Apabila ada jarum yang patah jangan disimpan di dalam laci bila ada kata dan laku yang salah jangan disimpan di dalam hati,” tutup Rektor seraya membacakan pantun.
