Staf Khusus Sekretariat Negara Republik Indonesia bidang Pendidikan datang ke kampus FIS untuk mendengar paparan pemateri tentang hubungan antara “Konservasi dan Peningkatan Kualitas Pendidikan di Indonesia” yang diselenggarakan oleh Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dalam rangka Dies Natalis ke-49 Unnes, Selasa (25/3).

Seminar tersebut ihadiri tiga narasumber  utama, yakni Direktur Pembinaan SMA Kemdikbud Ir. Harris Iskandar, PhD, Pusat Pengembangan Kurikulum Unnes Prof Dr Tri Marhaeni Puji Astuti MHum, Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Jawa Tengah Drs Nur Hadi Amiyanto MEd, serta pakar Energi Alternatif dari Undip Dr. Widayat.

Prof Tri Marhaeni menyampaikan tentang perubahan paradigma, dari sekolah yang hanya mengembangkan pengetahuan, pada Kurikulum 2013 sikap menjadi tujuan utama. Profesor di Jurusan Sosiologi dan Antropologi FIS Unnes ini juga menerangkan kaitan pendidikan karakter yang termuat dalam komponen kompetensi inti 1 (K1) dan Kompetensi inti 2 (K2) selaras dengan semangat konservasi yang dideklarasikan Unnes.

Sementara itu, Harris Iskandar menjelaskan tantangan yang dihadapi oleh bangsa Indonesia yang menjadi dasar perubahan dalam kurikulum 2013. Adapun Drs Nur Hadi Amiyanto  menceritakan tentang bagaimana dinamika yang dihadapi dinas, sekolah, dan guru di Jawa Tengah dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum baru tersebut.

Seminar yang dihadari 200 peserta terdiri atas dosen, guru, dan mahasiswa tersebut juga membuka sesi presentasi dan diskusi parallel. Daalam sesi tersebut sejumlah perspektif muncul. Bambang R. Prawiradiputra, Koordinator Tim Teknis Keamanan Hayati Bidang Pakan dari Bogor yang memperkenalkan tentang produk rekayasa genetik di dalam pertanian yang ternyata sudah banyak beredar di masyarakat.

Didin Widyartono, MPd dari Universitas Brawijaya memperkenalkan alih media pembelajaran dengan menggunakan e-Pub yang ternyata dapat mengefektifkan pembelajaran, serta penelitian dari dosen matematika Unnes yang mengkreasikan pembelajaran matematika dengan permainan tradisional seperti kelereng, permainan patil lele atau benthik dan permainan dakon yang ternyata bisa menjadi media pendidikan karakter. Semua tulisan dari peserta sesi paralel tersebut didokumentasikan dalam bentuk proceeding yang bisa didapatkan di FIS.  Syaiful Amin
