Pertunjukan musikalisasi puisi merupakan genre seni dalam seni pertunjukan yang mengolaborasikan antara seni puisi dan seni musik. Tujuannya agar puisi lebih mudah dipahami dan dinikmati. Hal tersebut, yang mendasari mahasiwa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (PBSI), Fakulas Bahasa dn Seni (FBS), Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) menampilkan 20 grup musikalisasi puisi. Minggu (17/1) di Gedung B6 FBS Unnes.

Mulyana MHum selaku pemdamping mengatakan, puisi yang dimusikalisasikan dipilih dengan mempertimbangkan jejak kepenyairan penulis puisi, belum pernah dimusikalisasikan, dan memiliki nilai kemanusian. Proses penggarapannya mahasiswa dituntut untuk menampilkan puisi utuh. Puisi tidak boleh dikurangi maupun ditambah. Musik dituntut untuk menguatkan pesan, makna dan suasana puisi. Hingga puisi dan musik membangun rasa yang padu.

“Karya KH Mustofa Bisri, Cairil Anwar, Amir Hamzah, Subagio Sastrowardoyo, Muhamamad Yamin, dan Taufik Ismail cenderung dipilih mahasiswa untuk dimusikaliaasikan dan dibuat video klip. Hal tersebut, sebagi bentuk apresiasi mahasiswa Unnes atas produktifitas kreatif mereka dalam mencipta karya sastra yang telah mewarnai perkembangan sastra Indonesia” ujar Mulyono.

Titin Rahayu yang menyenandungkan pusi “Pagi-pagi” karya Muhammad Yamin, merasakan lebih bisa menemu jiwai dan menikmati puisi ketika dimusikalisasikan. Tantangan terberat dalam proses penggarapan adalah ketika mengaransemen puisi, karena puisi tidak boleh diubah. Tantangan kreatif lainnya adalah mengvisualisasikan isi dan suasana puisi dalam video klip. “Energi kreatif sangat dituntut dalam proses penggarapan musikalisasi puisi ini,” ungkap Titin.
