Setidaknya ada tiga teori memimpin dalam suatu organisasi, lembaga, maupun unit, yakni teori ember, komandan dan ikan busuk. Teori ember merupakan teori di mana seorang pemimpin akan mencari alasan apa pun, bahwa dirinya tidak pernah salah.
Sedangkan teori komandan, seorang pemimpin menggunakan pedoman dua pasal, pasal satu berbunyi komandan tidak pernah salah, pasal dua, jika komandan salah lihat pasal satu.

Teori yang ketiga, ikan busuk, diibaratkan jika ikan mati, maka yang busuk dulu adalah kepala, teori ini menggambarkan sebuah kepemimpinan, dimana kalau terjadi kesalahan dalam lembaga, maka yang bertanggung jawab atas kesalahan itu pemimpinnya.

Demikian disampaikan Ketua Lembaga Pengembangan Pendidikan dan Profesi Drs Bambang Budi Raharjo MSi, saat memimpin apel pagi, Senin (10/1) di depan rektorat kampus Sekaran.

Ia juga mengatakan, teori yang selama ini dianut dalam memimpin, teori ikan busuk, teori inilah menurut Bambang BR paling baik.

Di samping itu, ia menceritakan suatu saat ada Dokter yang melakukan malpraktek, berdasar proses hukum ia dipenjara, sampai harus melakukan Peninjauan Kembali (PK) ke Mahkamah Agung. Karena dipenjara itu, dokter sejawatnya melakukan mogok, diikuti guru mogok karena anaknya sakit mau berobat dokter tidak ada, lagi petani ikutan mogok karena anaknya sekolah gurunya tidak ada. Kondisi ini menurut Bambang, padha saenake dhewe.

Kemudian ia bercerita, ada rapat tiga hari berturut-turut yang diikuti semua anggota badan. kenyataannya mata, otak, hidung, lengan, kaki saling beradu pendapat, merasa benar dan penting sendiri, karena rapat tak kunjung usai, dubur memutuskan diri mogok, ia keluar dari ruangan.

Tidak lama kemudian, tiba tiba mata berkunang-kunang, kepala pusing, badan rasanya tidak enak karena tidak bisa kentut, maka dicarilah akar penyebabnya yang tidak lain ada yang “mogok”.

Cerita tersebut, dianalogikan bahwa masing-masing staf (di unit apa pun) memiliki tugas dan peran masing-masing, semua berada pada posisi yang sama penting, maka bekerjalah yang terbaik untuk lembaga.

“Apabila semua beritikad bekerja mencapai hasil terbaik, maka otomatis lembaga ini semakin lebih baik,” ujarnya. “Jangan pernah menyalahkan anak buah, kalau ada anak buah yang salah, bekerja tidak maksimal, maka itu kesalahan pemimpinnya,” tambahnya.

    Cerita tersebut, dianalogikan bahwa masing-masing staf (diunit apa pun) memiliki tugas dan peran masing-masing, semua berada pada posisi yang sama penting, maka bekerjalah yang terbaik untuk lembaga…. dari penggalan cerita yang diamanatkan oleh Bambang Budi Raharjo, saat memimpin apel pagi, Senin (10/1) di depan rektorat Kampus Sekaran. maka tidak akan terjadi “masyarakat kedua” didalam kampus yang tercinta ini, dan juga tidak pernah ada yang namanya “anak tiri” (tidak ada perbedaan antara dosen dan karyawan) karena keduanya memiliki tugas dan fungsi yang sama pentingnya…SALAM KONSERVASI

  2. teori kepemimpinan ala Ki Hajar Dewantara pun masih relevan digunakan asal konsisten dan konsekuen untuk dimaknai dan dijalankan… semangat para pemimpin muda masa depan !
