Hari pertama sekolah (HPS) tahun ajaran 2016/2017 di Indonesia orang tua mengantarkan anaknya masuk sekolah. Ini terkait Surat Edaran Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Nomor 4 Tahun 2016 yang menganjurkan para orangtua meluangkan waktu mengantarkan anak pada hari pertama sekolah.

Tak kecuali di sekolah Labschool UNNES (Universita Negeri Semarang) banyak orang tua yang mengantarkan anaknya sekolah baik itu Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) maupun swasta.

“Selamat datang di sekolah Labschool UNNES. Ini merupakan hari pertama masuk sekolah,” kata Kepala sekolah SD Labschool UNNES Muhammad Mukhlas SPd saat menyambut 31 murid SD pada kelas I yang diantar oleh orang tuanya, Senin (18/7/2016).

Selain di kelas I, di ruang kelas II sampai kelas VI juga ada pengarahan murid dan orang tua oleh wali kelas masing-masing, jelasnya.

Mukhlas juga menyampaikan, hari pertama masuk sekolah murid didampingi orang tuanya ini untuk memotifasi anak supaya mengenal lingkungan, tidak tegang, berkenalan dengan temannya, sehingga pada hari ke-dua nanti diharapkan siswa sudah kenal dengan teman-temannya.

Mukhlas juga memberitaukan bahwa, SD Labschool sudah terakreditasi A, serta menggunakan kurikulum 2016.

“Labschool UNNES ini mempunyai 4 misi yakni menyelenggarakan sistem pendidikan yang menghasilkan insan yang bertaqwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, menghasilakan insan yang berkarakter melalui pendidikan budi pekerti, menghasilakan insan yang berwawasan konservasi dengan mewujudkan sekolah bersih dan hijau, serta menghasilkan insan yang unggul dan berprestasi,” kata Mukhlas.

Sederet prestasi diraih oleh guru dan siswa Labschool UNNES diantaranya, Juara II Lomba Guru Permainan Anak tingkat nasional, juara II Lomba Guru Senam Irama Ceria tingkat nasional, juara II Lomba Guru Cipta Tepuk Berkarakter tingkat Kota Semarang, dan penulis naskah Teaching Aids Balai Pengembangan Multimedia Kemendikbud.

Sedangkan prestasi siswa diantaranya, juara I pemilihan putra putri batik tingkat nasional, juara umum Candle Light Model (nasional), juara I dan II Sehat Ceria anak tingkat Kota Semarang, juara II menghias bekal tingkat Kecamatan, dan juara III tari kreasi tingkat Kota Semarang.

Seorang wali murid, Mustafa Daru Affandi ST mengaku sudah datang pukul 07.00 mengantarkan anaknya, Akila Latifah Hhumaira yang baru duduk di TK menyampaikan, kasihan mosok masuk sekolah hari pertama dilepas sendiri begitu saja. Mungkin nanti hari ke-dua kalau sudah terbiasa dan kenal dengan teman-temannya saya lepas.

Hal senada juga disampaikan Diana, salah satu orang tua siswa dari Kelompok Bermain mengatakan, ini merupakan hal sangat baik bagi siswa dan khususnya orang tua. Kami bisa lebih kenal terhadap guru, dan bisa lebih intensif kedekatan kami terhadap guru disini.

Kepala Pusat Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) dan Sekolah Laboratorium UNNES Drs Bambang Priyono MPd menyampaikan, Labschool UNNES ini mengelola tiga bidang yakni Kelompok Bermain (KB), Taman Kanak-kanak (TK), dan Sekolah Dasar (SD).

Kepala KB Dhiana Binantari SPd dan Kepala TK Ismuwati SPsi menyampaikan, KB Labschool ini baru berjalan dua tahun, tapi sudah memborong beberapa juara diantaranya juara I Main Lego tingkat Kecamatan, juara I Model Wisata, juara I menyusun Puzzle tingkat Kota Semarang, juara I Balita Bergaya tingkat Kota Seamarang, juara II Menghias Bekal Anak tingkat Kecamatan, juara III Lomba Bercerita dengan Gambar tingkat Kecamatan, dan juara III Gerak Kreatifitas Anak tingkat Kecamatan.
