Anda ingin pada semester ke-5 dan ke-6 kuliah di Australia, sedangkan selebihnya kuliah di Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes)? Keinginan itu akan terwujud jika Anda menjadi mahasiswa angkatan 2011 Fakultas Ekonomi (FE) Unnes, terutama Program Studi Akuntansi S1, Manajemen S1, dan Ekonomi Pembangunan S1.

Bekerja sama dengan University of Southern Queensland (USQ) Australia, mulai tahun akademik 2011/2012 FE Unnes membuka program gelar ganda (double degree). “Dengan program ini, pada semester I – IV mahasiswa menempuh kuliah di Unnes, sedangkan semester V – VI kuliah di USQ dan semester VII hingga lulus kembali lagi ke Unnes,” kata Pembantu Dekan Bidang Akademik FE M Khafid kepada unnes.ac.id.

Dengan mengikuti program itu, kata M Khafid, pada saat wisuda mereka akan mendapatkan dua ijazah sekaligus, dari Unnes dan USQ.

Lantas, apa syarat untuk menjadi mahasiswa peserta program tersebut? “Pertama, tentu saja menguasai bahasa Inggris yang salah satunya ditunjukkan dengan skor IELT minimal 6,0. Selain itu, secara finansial orang tua memberikan dukungan, meski untuk program ini disediakan beasiswa oleh Kementerian Pendidikan Nasional,” terang Khafid.

Sekadar catatan, selain melalui Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SNMPTN), mahasiswa baru ketiga program studi tersebut juga direkrut lewat Seleksi Penerimaan Mahasiswa Unnes (SPMU) yang pendaftarannya tengah berlangsung.
