Jurusan IPA Terpadu Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (FMIPA) Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) adakan seminar nasional IPA ke-7 “Pendidikan IPA Inovasi yang Berdaya Saing dalam Masyarakat Ekonomi Asean (MEA)”, sabtu (23/4) di Hotel Grasia.

Acara ini dibuka oleh Wakil Rektor Bidang Kerjasama Unnes Prof YL Sukestiarno yang didampingi oleh Dekan FMIPA, dalam sambutannya, “Seminar Nasional ini sangat mendukung profesionalisme pendidikan IPA dalam menghadap MEA. Unnes selalu memberikan inovasi untuk kemajuan pendidikan IPA di Indonesia”, katanya.

Pembicara dalam seminar ini antara lain Prof Dr Anna Permanasari MSi, Prof Cari MA, MSC dari, Prof Dr Badrun Kartowagiran MPd.

Prof Anna dalam paparanya menyatakan “profesionalise guru IPA diawali dari professionalise dosen IPA untuk dapat mempunyai daya saing dalam MEA”.

Dalam acara ini juga dilakukan penandatangan Nota kesepahaman antar pengelola jurna IPA dari 16 perguruan tinggi di Indonesia.

Menurut ketua panitia Parmin MPd, “Seminar Nasional IPA diselenggarakan sebagai rangkaian kegiatan Dies Natalis ke-51 Unnes”. 

Jumlah Peserta yang hadir 312 terdiri dari 134 pemakalah dari 16 perguruan tinggi.

  1. Sering kita dengar kekhawatiran akankah Indonesia siap menghadapi persaingan bebas di era MEA. Tak hanya persaingan ketat dibidang ekonomi tapi juga pendidikan.
    Sehingga keprofesinalan pendidik sekarang ini sangat diperlukan.
    Diharapkan dengan adanya seminar ini semoga semakin membuka pikiran kita untuk terus memberikan ilmu dan dedikasi secara penuh, terus mengembangkan diri sehingga akan lahir generasi penerus (mahasiswa- mahasiswa) yang cerdas dan siap bersaing di era MEA.

    Dalam acara ini UKM PENELITIAN UNNES turut mengirimkan Delegasi Perwakilan dari Punggawa kami yaitu atas nama Emas Agus Prasetyo Wibowo dan Ishmah Karinia Zakiri. Hal ini merupakan salah satu upaya UKMP untuk senantiasa menaikkan iklim keilmiahan dan kepenelitian di kalangan mahasiswa. Khususnya Mahasiswa Unnes. Sukses selalu untuk FMIPA UNNES.

    Dalam Era MEA ini persaingan antar negara di Asean akan semakin ketat, sudah sewajarnya mempersiapkan dan membekali diri agar mampu bersaing dengan negara lain. Tingkatkan kompetensi dan profesionalitas serta melakukan inovasi merupakan langkah tepat untuk menghadapi MEA.

  5. Dengan diberlakukannya MEA, persaingan akan semakin ketat. Untuk itu, peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia dalam berbagai aspek sangatlah dibutuhkan.

    Jangan sampai Indonesia hanya menjadi penonton dalam pertempuran MEA ini. Indonesia, sebagai notabene negara yang memiliki jumlah penduduk terbanyak di antara negara-negara ASEAN harus mampu dalam menguasai pasar dan sektor prioritas dari MEA ini.

    Ayo, semua pihak harus bahu-membahu agar masyarakat Indonesia–yang awam–tidak mengalamai cultural shock dengan diberlakukannya MEA ini. Semangat.
