Dalam rangka Dies Natalis ke-51 Unnes, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Semarang (FIS Unnes) menyelenggarakan International Conference dengan tema “On Dynamics And Empowerment of Rural Society In Asia”, Jumat (29/4) di Dekanat kampus Sekaran.

Hadir sebagai pembicara Balraj Singh PhD dan  Ajay Verma PhD dari Punjabi University India, Johan Richard Weintre PhD (Flinders University Australia), Prof Rahman Tang Abdullah (Sabah University Malaysia), Prof Sudharto P Hadi PhD (mantan Rektor Undip), dan Prof Dr Wasino MHum (Profesor Unnes).

Wakil Rektor Bidang Akademik Prof Dr Rustono saat membuka kegiatan menyampaikan, ternyata meskipun kita sudah maju, sudah modern, dan bisa menggunakan teknologi hebat, namun masih saja banyak desa, banyak orang-orang yang tertinggal. Oleh karena itu, dalam konferensi ini akan di ungkap oleh pembicara bagai mana caranya memperdayakan masyarakat desa tertinggal itu menjadi masyarakat yang terpelajar, masyarakat yang maju, dan masyarakat yang melik teknologi.

Konperensi ini yang pertama kali dilakukan oleh FIS, tidak hanya berhenti di tahun berikutnya juga akan diselenggarakan konferensi seperti ini, pungkas Prof Rustono.

Sebelumnya, Ketua panitia Martien Herna Susanti SSos MSi melaporkan kegiatan diikuti 196 0rang dari mahasiswa, dosen, dan pemerhati pendidikan.

  1. Konferensi ini membuka mata kita, bahwa masih banyak desa yang yang tertinggal karena tidak meratanya fasilitas atau sarana prasarana baik pendidikan, listrik, dan teknologi. Sangat memiriskan. Bandingkan dengan kita yang sudah bisa menikmati berbagai kemudahan diberbagai bidang.
    Diharapkan setelah konferensi ini akan adanya tindak lanjut berupa program pemberdayaan masyarakat, baik itu melalui program-program pengabdian masyarakat, hibah dana desa maupun yang lainnya.
    Mari bangun bangsa melalui pemberdayaan desa.

    konferensi seperti ini penting untuk terus diselenggarakan mengingat Indonesia masih memiliki begitu banyak daerah tertinggal. Semoga dari pembicaraan para Doktor, dan Profesor tersebut diatas bisa muncul ide ide cemerlang yang benar benar mampu mengentaskan daerah tertinggal.

  3. Dalam RPJPN disebutkan bahwa pembangunan nasional haruslah merata. Tahun 2025 merupakan puncak dari program RPJPN ini. Memang, tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa belum semua desa yang ada di Indonesia mendapatkan perhatian penuh. Untuk itu, mahasiswa sebagai pelopor perubahan harus mampu mewujudkan desa-desa Indonesia yang mandiri. Ketika mereka sudah mendapatkan ilmu yang banyak dan bekal yang cukup, janganlah malu untuk mengembangkan desa di mana ia berasal. Pembangunan ini merupakan tanggung jawab semua pihak.

    Apresiasi yang tinggi saya haturkan kepada Unnes yang selalu memikirkan hal-hal luarbisa demi perubahan, kemajuan, dan kemandirian bangsa. Lanjutkan!

    Good Job for Unnes. Konferensi internasional ini perlu diselenggarakan tidak hanya sekali ini saja tapi sebisa mungkin beberapa kali dalam sebulan agar membuka wawasan kita lebih luas dan dapat menyerap ilmu dari negara lain untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang ada di Indonesia. Seperti dalam konferensi kali ini yang membahas Bagaimana cara memperdayakan masyarakat desa tertinggal menjadi masyarakat yang terpelajar, masyarakat yang maju, dan masyarakat yang melek teknologi.

  5. Patut diapresiasi dan terus berlanjut acara-acara yang bisa melahirkan ide & gagasan baru dari negara yang memiliki pengalaman lebih untuk bekerja sama bertukar ilmu untuk membangun dan memecahkan permasalahan di daerah tertinggal.
