Project Manegement Unit (PMU) Universitas Negeri Semarang menerima sejumlah wejangan dari Islamic Development Bank (IDB) dalam pertemuan yang digelar di Jeddah, Arab Saudi, Senin-Selasa (1-2/12). Pertemuan PMU Unnes dengan IDB digelar untuk mempercepat proses pengadaan dan implementasi proyek IDB yang sedang dilaksanakan di Unnes.

Tim Unnes yang diundang untuk mengikuti rapat familiarisasi IDB tersebut adalah Prof Fathur Rokhman selaku Direktur PMU, Dr. Wahyono selaku Manajer PMU, Hendi Pratama selaku Sekretaris PMU dan Bambang Sugiyarto selaku Koordinator Pengadaan PMU.

Mereka disambut oleh Direktur Human Development Department Br. Daoda Malle dan Senior Education Specialist Br. Abdi Abdillahi. Setelah upacara penyambutan, tim Unnes mengikuti 3 sesi yang diadakan oleh IDB yang diadakan untuk memperkuat pengadaan dan implementasi proyek IDB yang sedang berlangsung.

Sesi yang pertama berjudul Disbursement and Financial Planning diisi oleh Br. Muhammad Mostagousul Haque selaku Disbursement Specialist. Sesi yang kedua diisi oleh Br. Fazliddin Tulaganov tentang Procurement Process under IDB Guidelines. Adapun sesi yang ketiga diisi oleh Br. Abdi Abdillahi tentang Project Acceleration and Controlling.

Prof Fathur Rokhman mengatakan bahwa proyek IDB Unnes saat ini memerlukan langkah percepatan sehingga masyarakat Unnes dapat segera menikmati hasil dari pembangunan dan pengadaan melalui proyek.

“Selain berupa pengadaan barang seperti laboratorium dan gedung dekanat, dana IDB telah digunakan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas dosen dengan beasiswa doktoral di beberapa negara,” katanya.

Secara terpisah Bambang Sugiyarto menyampaikan bahwa pertemuan ini memberikan gambaran yang lebih rinci mengenai pengadaan dengan IDB Guidelines.

Menurut Bambang, sebelum-sebelumnya Unnes lebih banyak menggunakan peraturan nasional dalam pengadaan. Baru kali ini Unnes menggunakan pengadaan internasioal dengan panduan dan aturan internasional.
