Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) bekerja sama dengan Kementerian Dalam Negeri memfasilitasi pembuatan E-KTP bagi dosen, karyawan, dan mahasiswa Unnes.

Mereka dapat datang langsung ke gedung H lantai 1 kampus Sekarang dengan menunjukkan kartu tanda penduduk (KTP) asli dan fotokopi kartu keluarga. Pembuatan E-KTP akan dilayani 19-26 November 2012.

E-KTP atau KTP Elektronik adalah dokumen kependudukan yang memuat sistem keamanan  atau pengendalian baik dari sisi administrasi ataupun teknologi informasi dengan berbasis pada database kependudukan nasional. Penduduk hanya diperbolehkan memiliki 1 (satu) KTP yang tercantum Nomor Induk Kependudukan (NIK). NIK merupakan identitas tunggal setiap penduduk dan berlaku seumur hidup.

Nomor NIK yang ada di e-KTP nantinya akan dijadikan dasar dalam penerbitan Paspor, Surat Izin Mengemudi (SIM), Nomor Pokok Wajib Pajak (NPWP), Polis Asuransi, Sertifikat atas Hak Tanah dan penerbitan dokumen identitas lainnya (Pasal 13 UU No. 23 Tahun 2006 tentang Adminduk).

    kalau bukan warga semarang,misal dari luar kota dan dulu waktu jadwal pembutan e-ktp di daerah asal tidak bisa balik… lalau ini dikenai biaya atau tidak?

    Kenapa dgn beranika ilmu pengetahuan justru lbih sulitnya mengakui kebenaran dan dangkalnya keyakinan ketahuilh bahwa dgn ilmu tidak akn pernah menemukan ku tpi dgn ku kalian akn temukan ilmu
