Jaksa Agung Basrief Arief dan Ketua Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) Abraham Samad akan menjadi pembicara seminar upaya pemberantasan korupsi di Unnes, Rabu (26/3). Kepastian kehadiran Jaksa Agung diperoleh setelah Ketua Umum DPP IKA Unnes Drs Budiyanto SH MHum bersama panitia Drs Wirawan Sumbodo MT, Dr Martitah MHum, Dr Eva Banowati MSi, dan Dra Rohmulyati MSi beraudiensi dengan Jaksa Agung, Senin (3/3) di Kejaksaan Agung, Jakarta.

Menurut Jaksa Agung Basrief Arief, seminar nasional upaya pembrentasan korupsi di Indonesia ini penting dalam ikhtiar pemberantasan korupsi. “Korupsi sampai kapan sih selesainya? Tapi kita harus selau ikhtiar, tidak pasif tapi aktif supaya korupsi hilang dari bumi Indonesia. Karena mencegah lebih baik daripada penindakan. Sebab penindakan membutuhkan ongkos besar,” kata Basrief.

“Makanya perlu tanggung jawab bersama seluruh aparatur pemerintah, baik BPK yang menghitung kerugian negara, kejaksaan yang menangani persoalan hukumnya, sehingga pemerintah secara total bisa solid. Kalau pemerintah solid, pengusaha korup yang kuat sekalipun tidak akan bisa masuk. Saya berharap, mulai dari penyusunan anggaran, aparat penegak hukum siap mendampingi supaya berjalan sesuai peraturan yang berlaku,” lanjutnya.

Drs Budiyanto SH MHum menjelaskan, pihaknya berupaya mempertemukan tiga lembaga penegak hukum melalui seminar untuk menyamakan visi persepsi upaya pemberantasan korupsi di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, selain mengundang Ketua KPK dan Jaksa Agung pihaknya kini tengah mengupayakan kehadiran Kapolri Jenderal Polisi Sutarman.

Menyuplik hasil penelitian Fakultas Ekonomika dan Bisnis (FEB) UGM, potensi kerugian negara akibat korupsi telah mencapai triliunan rupiah. Dari sektor pajak, tercatat, kerugian mencapai 50 triliun, sektor migas mencapai 40 triliun, sektor infrastruktur 597 triliun, pendidikan 204 triliun, kesehatan 113 triliun, kehutanan 2,3 triliun, perbankan 1,8 trliun, dan keuangan daerah 1,3 trliun.

“Korupsi ini adalah penyelewengan atau penggelapan uang negara untuk kepentingan pribadi atau orang lain yang mengandung unsur ketidakjujuran. Dewan Pengurus Pusat (DPP) IKA Unnes sebagai bagian dari warga bangsa terpanggil menyelenggarakan seminar nasional untuk menyamakan visi dan persepsi yang benar kepada masyarakat bahwa korupsi di Indonesia berada dalam zona yang  membahayakan kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa dan bernegara,” katanya.

Tambahnya, melalui seminar ini masyarakat juga diharapkan dapat mengetahui peran lembaga-lembaga penegak hukum dan masyarakat dalam upaya pencegahan  korupsi. Ia berharap, seminar ini dapat membangun kesadaran dan komitmen bersama penegak hukum dan masyarakat umum agar ke depan dapat melakukan upaya preventif, kuratif, dan edukasi dalam pemberantasan korupsi.

Seminar yang bertemakan “Upaya Pemberantasan Korupsi di Indonesia” direncanakan digelar pada Rabu (26/3) di Auditorum Kampus Unnes Sekaran. Direncanakan, seminar akan dihadiri kejaksaan, kepolisian, pengadilan, kepala daerah, partai politik, akademisi, guru, mahasiswa/pelajar, LSM, ormas, organisasi keagamaan, alumni Unnes, dan alumni perguruan tinggi se-Indonesia.
