Dosen dan tenaga kependidikan Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) hadir dalam halalbihalal dengan tema “Memelihara Jiwa Fitri untuk Mengukir Reputasi”, di auditorium kampus Sekaran, Gunungpati, Semarang, Kamis (6/7).

Rektor Prof Fathur Rokhman beserta segenap unsur pimpinan hadir dalam kegiatan rutin yang digelar setelah Idul Fitri itu. Hadir sebagai pencerahamah, dosen UIN Walisongo KH Fachrur Rozi MAg. Kegiatan sedikitnya dihadiri sebanyak 1.600 peserta, termasuk di dalamnya mitra UNNES, seperti unsur perbankan, militer dan kepolisian, juga unsur pemerintah kecamatan. Selain itu, hadir pula sejumlah pensiunan dan pengasuh pondok pesantren di lingkungan UNNES.

Dalam ceramahnya, Facrurrozi mengajak segenap civitas akademika UNNES untuk menjga kebhinekaan. Menurut dia, belakangan ini muncul gerakan-gerakan radikal yang tidak sejalan dengan jiwa bangsa Indonesia yang beragam. Padahal, bangsa ini dibangun oleh para pendahulu dengan semangat kebhinekaan dengan mengedepankan persatuan.

“Kita tidak perlu mempersoalkan perbedaan. Mari kita hargai saudara kita yang berbeda pendapat, agama, atau keyakinan. Terkait perbedaan, bangsa kita sudah melalui proses yang sangat panjang. Jadi, tidak perlu dipermasalahkan. Mari bangsa ini kita jaga bersama,” kata dia. Fachrur Rozi juga mengingatkan jika kampus merupakan rumah keberagaman.

Prof Fathur Rokhman menyatakan, kebersamaan merupakan kunci kesuksesan. Kebersamaan antara lain terbangun dengan silaturahmi yang terbangun secara rutin. “Mudah-mudahan kebersamaan ini kian menguatkan dan meningkatkan mutu UNNES,” kata Fathur.
