Program Studi Pendidikan IPA Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Negeri Semarang (FMIPA Unnes), menggelar Seminar Nasional “Peran Penelitian Bidang  IPA dan Pembelajarannya dalam Konteks Kurikulum 2013 serta Pendidikan Karakter”. Seminar yang terbuka untuk umum ini diselenggarakan 27 April 2013.

Seminar diharapkan mampu mengkomunikasikan dan memfasilitasi pertukaran informasi berkaitan dengan hasil penelitian khususnya dalam bidang IPA dan pendidikan IPA bagi para pengembang kebijakan, praktisi, dosen, guru dan pemerhati pendidikan.

Tidak hanya itu, dalam seminar yang telah menjadi agenda tahunan ini dirancang sebagai wahana interaksi profesional antarkomunitas bidang IPA maupun pendidikan IPA di Indonesia.  Interaksi tersebut berupa tukar pikiran, pengetahuan, pengalaman, dan gagasan untuk mengakselerasi pengembangan penelitian di bidang IPA dan Pendidikan IPA dalam konteks kurikulum 2013 serta pendidikan karakter.

Ruang lingkup seminar meliputi kesiapan dan tantangan dunia pendidikan menyambut Kurikulum 2013, perkembangan penelitian IPA dalam konteks kurikulum 2013, dan pembelajaran berbasis TIK dan pendidikan karakter. Selain itu implementasi pendekatan sains dalam kurikulum 2013 dan penelitian bidang IPA.

Peserta

Peserta terdiri atas dosen, guru, mahasiswa, praktisi, serta pemerhati IPA dan pendidikan IPA. Sebagai pembicara utama yaitu Prof. Dr. Wida Sunarno, M.Pd  dari Pascasarjana Pendidikan Sains UNS, Prof. Dr. Anna Permanasari, M.Si (Sekolah Pascasarjana Pendidikan IPA UPI), Dr. Andreas Priyono Budi Prasetyo M.Ed. (Unnes), dan Suko Mardiono, S.H, M.M (Kepala BKD Provinsi Jawa Tengah).

Seminar akan dimulai pukul 08.00 di C7 Fakultas Ilmu Sosial (FIS) Unnes kampus Sekaran Gunungpati Semarang. Peserta seminar akan mendapatkan seminar kit, booklet, sertifikat, coffebreak, dan makan. Biaya pendaftaran peserta, mahasiswa S1 Rp100.000, mahasiswa S2-S3/Dosen/Umum Rp125.000, pemakalah Rp200.000.

Sedangkan biaya mempublikasikan artikel melalui prosiding Rp150.000 dan Jurnal Pendidikan IPA Indonesia Rp100.000.
