Ayuk Fadhilah Siswa kelas XII SMK Negeri Warung Asem Kabupaten Batang juara tingkat Provinsi, setelah lulus ingin meneruskan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi, namun terkendala dengan ekonomi.

Ayuk, begitu sapaan sehari-harinya anak dari pasangan bapak Nuryanto pekerja buruh batu dan ibu Saniti ibu rumah tangga ini kepingin kuliah di Universitas Negeri Semarng (Unnes) saat Wakil Rektor Bidang Akademik Prof Rustono memberikan sosialisasi Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SNMPTN) di sekolah itu, Selasa (8/3).

Ayuk merupakan siswa jurusan Tata Busana meraih juara II tingkat Provinsi dalam lomba Rancang Busana Batik dan Tenun.

“Saya kepingin kuliah di Unnes tapi bingun masalah biaya karena orang tua saya pekerjaannya buruh batu,” kata Ayuk.

Prof Rustono menyarankan, adik Ayuk tidak usah bingun mantapkan langkah untuk meneruskan ke bangku kuliah. Pemerintah sudah menyediakan beasiswa Bidikmisi bagi siswa yang berprestasi akademik namun kurang mampu secara ekonomi. Seperti mbak Raeni anak tukang becak dari Kendal, sekarang sedang kuliah di Inggris dengan biaya beasiswa dari Presiden.

Unnes setiap tahun menerima mahasiswa Bidikmisi 1.700 lebih tanpa membayar uang kuliah sampai lulus, bahkan setiap bulan memperoleh biaya hidup Rp 600 ribu.

“Segeralah mendaftar mulai sekarang manfaatkan waktu ini masih ada kesempatan empat hari lagi sebab tanggal 12 Maret nanti pendaftaran SNMPTN ditutup,” tegas Prof Rustono.

Prof Rustono menambahkan, Unnes juga sudah membuka pendaftaran jalur mandiri prestasi, untuk siswa-siswa berprestasi dan yang mempunyai keterampilan khusus.

Selain di SMK Negeri Warung Asem, pada hari yang sama sosialisasi juga dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Subah.
