Sebanyak 57 dosen Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) dinyatakan lulus sertifikasi dosen 2013 oleh Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi (Ditjen Dikti) Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan.

Penyerahan sertifikat pendidik dilakukan oleh Rektor Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum, Selasa (4/3), di kampus Sekaran.

Koordinator sertifikasi dosen Unnes Dwi Yulianti MSi melaporkan, pada 2013, Unnes mendapat alokasi sertifikasi dosen sebanyak 69 dari Ditjen Dikti melalui dua gelombang.

Dia menjelaskan, dari jumlah yang telah dipenuhi, 6 dosen mengundurkan diri. Hal ini berarti, dosen yang bakal disertifikasi sebanyak 63. Setelah diumumkan, sebanyak 57 dosen dinyatakan lulus dan 6 dosen tidak lulus. “Dari total dosen Unnes 980 orang, yang sudah tersertifikasi sampai saat ini 797 dosen. Sedangkan yang belum tersertifikasi 183 dosen,” katanya.

Rektor mengatakan, dosen yang tersertifikasi merupakan dosen profesional dan bermartabat. Oleh sebab itu, Prof Fathur mengajak supaya senantiasa meningkatkan kinerja dan mengedepankan kejujuran.

“Segala tindakan harus dilandasi oleh empat kompetensi, yakni kepribadian, pedagogik, profesional, dan sosial,” ujarnya.

Prof Fathur juga mengingatkan dosen supaya menjadikan kejujuran sebagai landasan utama dalam budaya akademik, salah satunya tidak melakukan tindakan penjiplakan. Terlebih lagi, penjiplakan akan segera diketahui karena sertifikasi dosen menggunakan sistem full online.

“Selain tindakan kriminal, tindak plagiarisme di perguruan tinggi juga merusak generasi penerus bangsa,” kata Prof Fathur.
