Sebanyak 535 orang mengikuti tes online merebutkan tiket masuk Sarjana Mendidik di daerah Terdepan, Terluar, dan Tertinggal (SM3T) 2013 melalui Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes), Jumat (19/7) di kampus Sekaran.

Dr Isti Hidayah Kepala Pusat Pengembangan Pendidikan Profesi Guru mengatakan ke 535 orang ini mereka telah lolos seleksi administrasi dari 1.107 orang pendaftar.

“Tes ini secara nasional dari pusat (Jakarta) jadi ada tim tersendiri yang membuat soal, Unnes hanya penyelenggara yang ditunjuk dari Dikti bersama Lembaga Pendidikan dan Tenaga Kependidikan (LPTK) lain,” kata Isti Hidayah.

Isti Hidayah juga mengemukakan Unnes memperoleh kuota sebanyak 200 orang. Namun, nanti setelah dilakukan seleksi online, wawancara, dan prakondisi ternyata kurang dari 200 orang ya tidak apa-apa. Sebab dengan melalui tes ini akan diambil terbaik untuk diterjunkan ke daerah tujuan.

Rencananya peserta yang memenuhi syarat akan diberangkatkan bulan September ke daerah Aceh Besar, Kabupaten Landak Kalimantan, dan NTT (Ende, Manggarai), katanya.

Tahun 2013 ini Unnes merupakan tempat mendaftar dan tes terbanyak se-Jawa dari LPTK yang menyelenggarakan program SM3T.

Unnes melakukan tes 3 hari mulai Jumat sampai Minggu (19-21/7) menggunakan dua tempat di laboratorium IT Badan Pengembangan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi serta di Fakultas MIPA. Dilakukan dua sif per hari pagi dan siang.

Peserta Tidak Dirugikan
Munawar tim IT Unnes menyampaikan apabila terjadi gangguan listrik mati para peserta tidak dirugikan karena sistem sudah diprogram sedemikian rupa. Misalnya peserta sudah menjawab 30 soal tiba-tiba listrik mati maka soal-soal yang sudah terjawab tadi tidak hilang.

Selain itu sisa waktunya juga bisa dilanjutkan setelah listrik hidup. Umpamanya waktunya tinggal 1 jam tiba-tiba listrik padam 30 menit, maka setelah listrik hidup peserta bisa melanjutkan mengerjakan soal dengan sisa waktu tadi yakni 1 jam.
