Pemerintah Kota Semarang (pemkot) kembali menyalurkan bantuan senilai Rp1,018 miliar untuk program Gerakan Terpadu Pengentasan Kemiskinan Berbasis Pendekatan Lingkungan (Gardu Kempling), Selasa (19/7). Bantuan meliputi lima aspek, yakni kesehatan, ekonomi, pendidikan, infrastruktur, dan lingkungan.

Wali Kota Semarang Soemarmo menandaskan hal itu saat menyerahkan bantuan kepada warga miskin yang dipusatkan di Kelurahan Mangunsari, Gunungpati.

Hadir dalam penyerahan bantuan tersebut Pembantu Rektor Bidang Akademik Unnes Agus Wahyudin MSi, pejabat Muspida Kota Semarang, Dirut Bank Jateng Hariyono, pengusaha, perwakilan perguruan tinggi, dan LSM se-Kota Semarang.

“Bantuan itu berasal dari satuan kerja perangkat daerah (SKPD) atau dinas terkait senilai Rp 810 juta dan Bank Jateng Rp208,696 juta melalui program corporate social responsibility (CSR) menggandeng Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) sebagai aplikasi pelaksanaan program Gardu Kempling 2011,” kata Wali Kota.

Soemarmo mengatakan, Pemkot tidak pernah mengelola uang serupiah pun bantuan dari perbankan atau dari SKPD. “Uang itu kami serahkan sepenuhnya ke perguruan tinggi  yang mengelola atau yang membina bersama dengan masyarakat. Semoga cita-cita masyarakat Kota semarang yang sejahtera bisa terwujud.”

Bantuan CSR di Kelurahan Mangunsari dan Plalangan berupa diversifikasi makanan berbahan dasar tepung umbi kepada 15 kepala keluarga (KK), pengelolaan susu segar menjadi es krim  dan yohurt (15 KK), diversifikasi makanan berbahan dasar suweg (15 KK), penetasan itik (15 KK), diverifikasi pengolahan buah-buahan (15KK), teknologi pengolahan tepung suweg (10), peningkatan efisiensi lahan peternakan lele (30 KK), teknik merias wajah dan potong rambut dasar (15 KK), pengembangan Pos PAUD (20 KK), dan budi daya itik (10 KK).
