State University of Semarang (UNNES) once again demonstrated an international standard education. This time, seven study programs at UNNES were successfully certified for international accreditation from the Agency for Quality Assurance through the Accreditation of Study Programs (AQAS) accreditation.
The seven study programs include, S1 Arabic Language Education Study Program, S1 English Literature Study Program, S1 English Education Study Program, S1 Accounting Study Program, S1 Law Study Program, S1 Economic Education Study Program, and S1 Management Study Program.
“Alhamdulillah, we are very grateful. This is the hard work of all parties in carrying out quality assurance in the Study Programs so that it produces results that are proud of being internationally accredited,” said UNNES Chancellor Prof. Dr. Fathur Rokhman MHum.
Prof. Fathur said, with international accreditation, the Chancellor hopes that UNNES services meet national and international standards for students and other stakeholders.
“International recognition is important to ensure graduates have high bargaining power in the international arena,” said Prof Fathur Rokhman.
In addition, the Chancellor of UNNES explained that this international accreditation is a form of UNNES implementation in realizing the independent campus program.
“We will continue to encourage the quality of UNNES and increase the acquisition of Study Program accreditation through international accreditation. The seven study programs above are indeed considered worthy of international accreditation,” he concluded.
