UNNES offers a scholarship to outstanding international students who wish to pursue their studies in any undergraduate and graduate study programs available at UNNES. This scholarship program aims to support students financially with exceptional academic records and a strong interest in their studies. Application Process

  1. Open our website unnes.ac.id/en/apply. Read all the information about the enrollment process, including the required document and timeline.
  2. Prepare all the documents required. Please check and make sure the documents are well scanned.
  3. Click “Apply Now” and register yourself. 
  4. Continue all the online application process.
  5. If you have any question regarding the selection process, please contact us.

Requirements For Bachelor Degree Scholarship

  1. The maximum age to apply for the scholarship is 25 years old.
  2. ⁠Hold a high school degree (please provide the scanned diploma and academic transcripts on high school degree in English). Please be advised that bachelor degree holder is not eligible to apply.
  3. Have a TOEFL or lELTS (or other certified English Proficiency Test) score of 90 TOEFL IBT or 5.0 IELTS or equivalent (the certificate must be obtained within the last 2 Years). Applicants who come from English-speaking countries or graduated from program/class conducted in English (stated in diploma/transcript) may attach official letter from their previous home school as the replacement of English proficiency test sheet.
  4. ⁠Provide the recommendation letter to apply for UNNES scholarship from the Indonesian Embassy or the Indonesian Consulate General in applicant’s country
  5. Attach a letter of recommendation for UNNES Scholarship from the employer/direct supervisor (if applicant works and the letter must be new)
  6. ⁠Provide Academic Recommendation Letter from previous schools.
  7. ⁠Provide the prove of citizenship by official passport which is still valid at least 1 year after July 2024. (National ID card is not acceptable)
  8. ⁠Complete the online application form

  2. Hold a bachelor degree (please provide the scanned diploma and academic transcripts on bachelor degree in English). Please be advised that master degree holder is not eligible to apply.

  1. The maximum age to apply for the scholarship is 40 years old.
  2. Hold a master degree (please provide the scanned diploma and academic transcripts on master degree in English). Please be advised that doctorate degree holder is not eligible to apply.
  3. Provide a statement of purpose mentioning the purpose of studies, the origin of interests in studying in Indonesia and pursuing their chose research topic and their plans for the academic future.
  4. Have a TOEFL or lELTS (or other certified English Proficiency Test) score of 90 TOEFL IBT or 5.0 IELTS or equivalent (the certificate must be obtained within the last 2 Years). Applicants who come from English-speaking countries or graduated from program/class conducted in English (stated in diploma/transcript) may attach official letter from their previous home university as the replacement of English proficiency test sheet.
