Kepala Staf Kepresidenan Republik Indonesia Jenderal TNI (Purn) Dr Dr (HC) Moeldoko SIP MSi menerima gelar Doktor Kehormatan Honoris Causa dari Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) pada bidang Manajemen Strategi Pembangunan Sumber Daya Manusia, program studi Manajamen Kependidikan Pascasarjana UNNES.

Pada kesempatan ini, Purnawirawan Panglima TNI tersebut memaparkan orasi ilmiahnya yang berjudul “Membangkitkan Manusia Tangguh: Strategi Pembangunan Manusia Indonesia dalam Menghadapi Tantangan Nasional dan Global Menuju Indonesia Emas 2045”.

Dalam paparannya, Jenderal TNI (Purn) Moeldoko menyebutkan dunia dihadapkan pada ketidakpastian dan kompleksitas global yang berimplikasi di lingkup nasional.

Menurutnya, hal ini menimbulkan proposisi negara-negara lain berhasil dalam meningkatkan nilai kompetitif Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) di negaranya.

Sehingga menurut Purnawirawan Panglima TNI, hal tersebut dimaknai sebagai peringatan bahwa Indonesia perlu mengambil langkah segera dan berani untuk menjaring, mengembangkan, dan meretensi secara berkelanjutan talenta potensial dan unggul Indonesia, untuk peningkatan kualitas manusia Indonesia agar mampu bersaing dengan negara lain di masa kini maupun masa depan.

Oleh karenanya, Jenderal TNI (Purn) Moeldoko menekankan perlunya membangkitkan kapasitas SDM Indonesia yang inovatif dan kolaboratif.

Ia menambahkan, ada 5 kemampuan dasar yang harus dimiliki Indonesia, yaitu mampu adaptif terhadap perubahan yang terjadi, membangun kecepatan di segala lini, berani mengambil risiko atas kebijakan yang diambil secara konstitusional, siap menghadapi kompleksitas akibat globalisasi, dan siap merespon kejutan-kejutan yang akan terjadi akibat kemajuan teknologi baru.

Selain itu, ia menekankan bangsa Indonesia harus menyiapkan karakter kepemimpinan nasional yang tangguh, sehingga sanggup menghadapi tantangan nasional dan global dalam menyongsong Indonesia Emas tahun 2045.

“Indonesian itu lengkap, punya sumber kekayaan yang melimpah, punya teknologi yang terus berkembang, juga punya banyak manusia. Kita harus bisa mengelolanya dengan baik dan melompat menjadi bangsa yang lebih maju dan besar,” kata Jenderal TNI (Purn) Moeldoko.

Melalui Kombinasi Kepemimpinan Militer, Bisnis, dan
Sipil yakni M-Leadership, Moeldoko optimis mampu menjawab tantangan Indonesia.

Model kepemimpinan M-Leadership berisi 3 M yakni Move, Motivate, and Make A Difference

Jenderal TNI (Purn) Moeldoko menjabarkan “move” sebagai lompatan-lompatan penting untuk menggapai kemajuan, “motivate” untuk
melawan rasa takut pada diri para pemimpin, serta “make a difference”berupa langkah-langkah inovasi yang bisa dilakukan secara nyata.

Selain itu, Jenderal TNI (Purn) Moeldoko menekankan pemimpin harus berani memimpin perubahan dengan bersenjatakan tiga hal.

Pertama, kemampuan menumbuhkan sense of urgency, kesadaran akan bahaya yang menanti dan mempertahankan kondisi yang ada.

Kedua, kemampuan menunjukkan visi yang jelas kepada anggota organisasi. Perubahan besar skala organisasi hampir mustahil dilakukan kecuali melibatkan sebagain besar anggotanya.

Ketiga, kemauan menjadi teladan (role mode) di dalam perubahan.

Menurut nya, hal tersebut akan menghasilkan kualitas kepemimpinan yang berkarakter, berkemampuan administratif, memberdayakan manusia, dan menumbuhkan inovasi sehingga Indonesia dapat melompat menjadi negara yang lebih maju.
