ICT Center Universitas Negeri Semarang had the opportunity to attend the Edutech ASIA 2022 event in collaboration with REFO Indonesia. Edutech Asia is the largest gathering event for educators and educational technology services in Asia. The event, which will take place from 8 to 10 November 2022, will be held at Sands Expo & Convention Center, Marina Bay, Singapore.
Several CEOs and Founders of the world’s leading educational institutions, up to directors of Banks and Gaming companies gave keynotes at the event. Kiran Sethi, director of The Riverside School and The Riverside Foundation spoke about education and humanity, as well as Raya Bidshari, CEO of School of Humanity who also addressed topics similar to the big headline ‘reinventing schools’, ‘reinventing schools’.
Equally interesting, Steve Isaacs, a Program Manager at Epic Games, explained how games began to shape the future, from players to creators.
On this occasion, UPT ICT represented by Alfath Yanuarto, also visited with REFO Indonesia to Google Asia-Pacific Headquarters in Singapore. At the Google Headquarters, various Google products and services in Asia Pacific were introduced along with how to work and work culture at Google.
During the visit to EduTech Asia 2022, apart from the Google Headquarters, we also visited some of the best schools and campuses in Singapore, such as the International French School and the National University of Singapore (NUS).
