Sebanyak 45 dosen mulai 26 Februari-3 Maret 2018 mengikuti pelatihan Program Pengembangan Keterampilan Dasar Teknik Instruksional (Pekerti) di Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES).

Kepala Pusat Pengembangan Bahasa dan Pelatihan Pendidikan Lembaga Pengembangan Pendidikan dan Profesi (LP3) UNNES Drs Amir Sisbiyanto MHum melaporkan, pelatihan ini diikuti 45 dosen terdiri atas 39 dosen UNNES, 5 dosen Akademi Komunitas Negeri (AKN) Jepara, dan satu dosen dari STIE Semarang.

“Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keprofesional dosen dalam menjalankan tugas, peran, dan kedudukannya,” ujarnya.

Rektor UNNES Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum saat membuka kegiatan menyampaikan, selain sebagai pendidik profesional, dosen juga ilmuwan dengan tugas utama di antaranya mentransformasikan ilmu. “Jadi, ilmu itu untuk dihilirisasikan,” kata Prof Fathur.

Ia mengatakan, sekarang ini dunia memasuki era disrupsi. Oleh karena itu, dunia cepat berubah. Rektor mencontohkan, dalam perkembangan informasi dan teknologi, seorang dosen bisa mengikuti, tapi dalam bidang keilmuan mutlak harus tetap dimiliki. “Jika akar keilmuan tidak dimiliki, maka akan menjadi lemah,” kata Prof Fathur.

Ia mengajak seluruh peserta Pekerti untuk menjalankan tugas dan kewajiban sebagai seorang dosen dengan baik sehingga mampu bersanding bahkan bersaing dengan dosen internasional. Untuk itu, dosen perlua memperluas jaringan internasional.

Semantara itu, Prof Dr Mungin Eddy Wibowo MPd Kons ketika memberi materi menyampaikan, semua dosen mengikuti program Pekerti karena tidak ada sekolah dosen. Kalau dulu, ada sekolah guru namanya Sekolah Pendidikan Guru (SPG) sehingga dosen menguasai ilmu Keterampilan Dasar Teknik Instruksional.

Prof Mungin menambahkan, seiring dengan berjalannya waktu, peserta beberapa tahun kemudian melanjutkan dengan program Applied Approach (AA) yaitu pendidikan suatu terapan untuk dilihat kembali, dievaluasi, dan diperbaiki. Harapannya, dosen semakin terampil dan profesional dalam pembelajaran.
