Dr Nurul Ain Dosen Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) Malaysia mengantarkan 10 mahasiswanya berpraktik pengalaman lapangan (PPL) antarbangsa ke Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), Senin (19/9) di kampus Sekaran,
rombongan diterima oleh Ketua Lembaga Pengembangan Pendidikan dan Profesi Drs Abdurrahman MPd dan beberapa dosen terkait yang menangani mahasiswa PPL.

Setelah penyerahan mahasiswa PPL, Dr Nurul Ain menyempatkan diri berkunjung ke Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Jawa Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni (FBS) diterima oleh beberapa dosen diantaranya Ketua Jurusan Drs Widodo MPd, Bambang Widiatmoka PhD, Dra Endang Kurniati MPd, Mujimin SPd MPd, dan Ucik Fuadhiyah SPd MPd.

Kunjungan Nurul Ain ingin menjajaki kerjasama dalam bidang pengembangan dan penelitian, sastra, serta budaya.
Pada kesempatan itu, Nurul menyaksikan sejumlah pemutaran dokumentasi terkait praktik mahasiswa mata kuliah di Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Jawa, diantaranya Kethoprak, Pranatacara, dan pagelaran Wayang.

Dosen UPSI itu menyampaikan sangat tertarik dan ingin mendalami belajar budaya jawa melalui skema kerjasama lembaga sebab di UPSI juga ada Fakultas Bahasa, Seni & Musik, Ilmu Kognitif & Pengembangan Manusia sehingga cocok untuk berkolaborasi.
