Perkembangan dunia pendidikan tak dapat dipisahkan dengan pesatnya kemajuan teknologi. Melalui kemajuan tersebut, siswa diharap lebih mudah dalam belajar. “Teknologi dan pendidikan yang bersinergi adalah hal yang ditekankan dalam Kurikulum 2013,” ujar Dr Purwanto MPd, Kepala Bidang Teknologi Pembelajaran Pusat Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (Pustekkom) Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan, dalam Seminar Nasional Pendidikan, Kamis (12/6), di Hotel Grasia, Semarang.

Dia mengatakan, peluang bagi lulusan Prodi Kurikulum dan Teknologi Pendidikan terbuka lebar. Meskipun, menurutnya, belum dibuka jabatan pengembang teknologi pendidikan di sekolah. “Di era modern ini harus bisa saling bekerja sama untuk mendenifisikan dan mendifusikan pembelajaran di Kurikulum 2013,” jelasnya.

Ketua panitia seminar, Nur Risky Chodijah, menyatakan keprihatinannya pada hilangnya mata pelajaran TIK dalam Kurikulum 2013. Untuk itu dia berharap seminar ini mampu merumuskan solusi untuk mempercepat implementasi Kurikulum 2013 dan mewancanakan perlunya teknologi pendidikan di sekolah.

Dekan Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Unnes, Hardjono MPd, menyatakan seminar telah membangun paradigma pentingnya teknologi pendidikan bagi sekolah. “Teknologi tidak bisa ditawar dan berperan di semua bidang kehidupan. Peran teknologi yang satu sisi menguasasi alam tanpa kontrol harus tetap diimbangi dengan kearifan,” ujar dia.

Ada beberapa subtema yang dibahas dalam seminar yaitu, pengembangan kurikulum nasional dalam rangka merespons perubahan sosial global, reposisi profesi pengembang Teknologi Pendidikan di sekolah dalam suksesi Kurikulum 2013, dan pengembangan kualitas guru dalam menghadapi perubahan sosial dan Kurikulum 2013.

Dr Siskandar MA, dosen FIP Unnes  yang juga menjadi pembicara, mengatakan prinsip pembelajaran dalam Kurikulum 2013 adalah mencari tahu. “Dari sumber belajar tunggal ke beragam sumber belajar, tekstual ke ilmiah, keseimbangan hardskill dan softskills, dan keteladanan,” katanya.

Dr Dewi Utama Faizah, Kasi Penilaian dan Akreditasi, mengatakan peran teknologi pendidikan dalam Kurikulum 2013 yaitu membantu guru di sekolah. “Di kelas yang siswanya berjumlah lebih dari 30, membuat guru tidak mampu mengenal karakteristik semua siswa. Untuk itu, peran orang tua sangat penting. Jika orang tua dibekali cara mendidik yang baik maka akan membuat anak mampu meraih cita-cita,” ujarnya.

Melatih orang tua, menurut dia, lebih bermanfaat dibandingkan dengan melatih guru. Hal ini karena guru sudah disibukkan dengan administrasi dan tidak bisa memperhatikan semua karakteristik anak didiknya. “Oleh karena itu, jika orang tua dilatih, maka bisa mengembangkan potensi sesuai dengan keunikan anaknya,” jelas Dr Dewi.
