Sebagai bagian dari pendidikan antikorupsi, Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) menyelenggarakan Debat Antikorupsi, Jumat (11/4), di kampus Sekaran. Debat yang mengambil tema “Cegah dan Berantas Korupsi Mulai dari Diri Kita” itu diikuti 10 tim dari berbagai fakultas di Unnes.

Ketua Panitia Hartati Sulistyo Rini menuturkan kegiatan ini merupakan upaya Universitas Konservasi untuk mencegah dan memberi sumbangsih dalam penanganan masalah korupsi yang telah menggurita.

Debat terbagi menjadi tiga sesi. Pada sesi pertama, 10 tim diseleksi menjadi empat tim untuk menuju semifinal. Babak penyisihan menggunakan sistem “British Parliamentary”. Setelah babak penyisihan, empat peserta mengikuti semifinal dan menuju final. Sistem yang digunakan pada babak semifinal dan final terbagi menjadi tim pro dan kontra dengan sistem “Australian Debate”.

Dekan Fakultas Ilmu Sosial (FIS) Unnes, Dr Subagyo, menyatakan debat ini sekaligus bentuk konservasi dalam bidang budaya, yakni membiasakan budaya ilmiah dan penanaman nilai antikorupsi melalui debat.

Juara I Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan yang terdiri atas Achmad Farchan, Thomas Rinaldi, dan Faisal Nur Iman, juara II Fakultas Ekonomi yang terdiri atas Ikhya Ulumuddin, Eka Galuh Indriyani, dan Aburizal Sufyan Tsauri. Juara III juga diraih Fakultas Ekonomi yang beranggotakan Ragil Waseza, Agus Wigianto, dan Annisa Ayu Intan F.

    Semoga dengan diadakan kegiatan kegiatan yang mendidik generasi bangsa untuk “melek” korupsi dan malu untuk melakukan tindak korupsi, bangsa Indonesia bisa menjadi semakin maju, sejahtera dan bermartabat di mata dunia.
