Penurunan sumbangan pengembangan lembaga (SPL) bagi mahasiswa baru Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) 2011 dilakukan dengan pertimbangan untuk meringankan beban masyarakat.

Hal itu dikemukakan Rektor Unnes Sudijono Sastroatmodjo saat membuka Rapat Kerja Universitas, Rabu (9/2), di rektorat kampus Sekaran. Rapat diikuti 97 peserta yang terdiri atas para pimpinan di seluruh universitas.

“Sebagai perguruan tinggi milik pemerintah, Unnes telah mendapatkan berbagai fasilitas dan dana dari pemerintah. Dana dari pemerintah tersebut pada hakikatnya berasal dari masyarakat pula. Karena itu, sudah semestinya jika penyelenggaraan pendidikan ini selalu berorientasi pada rakyat,” katanya.

Sebagaimana tercantum dalam berbagai media publikasi untuk Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SNMPTN), SPL untuk mahasiswa baru sebesar Rp5,9 juta. Jumlah ini menurun secara signifikan  dibandingkan dengan tahun lalu, Rp9 juta – Rp15 juta. Selain itu, sumbangan penyelenggaraan pendidikan (SPP) mahasiswa baru Rp400 ribu.

Rektor tak menampik, penurunan SPL akan turut menurunkan pendapatan anggaran rutin universitas. “Kira-kira Rp5 miliar hingga Rp6 miliar per tahun.”

Karena itu, Rektor berharap para pimpinan melakukan pengaturan internal secara lebih berhati-hati.  “Untuk mengecat dinding atau membangun secara fisik boleh ditahan dulu, tapi hak-hak dosen dan karyawan jangan sampai dikurangi, apalagi ditiadakan. Lebih-lebih honorarium untuk guru pamong sekolah-sekolah PPL, jangan sampai dikurangi atau diutang dengan alasan apa pun,” katanya.

Rektor juga meminta para pimpinan di bawahnya untuk tidak menyelenggarakan studi banding. “Segala studi banding, hentikan dulu,” katanya.

    Jangan hanya guru pamong sekolah-sekolah PPL saja yang diperhatikan, tetapi juga PEMBIMBING LAPANGAN PKL, bukankan UNNES tidak seperti IKIP dulu? Masak masih berat sebelah/berat ke PPL/IKIP

    Bukannya negatif thinking atau bagaimana.
    Tapi kenapa tahun angkatan 2010 bgitu mahal SPL nya?13juta turun ke 5,9juta.
    Ini tidak adil bukan?
    Apa keistimewaan angkatan2010?tolong dg sangat jangan tidak adil begini. Terimakasih.

    ya memang harus turun dong supaya yang anak2 pintar dari keluarga kurang mampu juga bisa kuliah dan itu justru meningkatkan kualitas unnes

    kalo pembangunan gedung di tunda, bagaimana dengan Mahasiswa PTIK yang tahun depan kalo ada mahasiswa baru jumlahnya 350 lebih, sedangkan ruang kuliah masih pinjam prodi lain, mohon di tanggapi,

    Yth bapak rektor, mohon kemurahan hati untuk menurunkan biaya SPP untuk angkatan sebelumnya agar dapat meringankan pula beban orang tua mereka dan tidak menimbulkan kecemburuan sosial.

    asik ya untuk SPL tahun depan turun!!!!
    sedangkan untuk SPL saya saja belum lunas sampai sekarang,karena terlalu banyak SPL waktu kemarin yaitu Rp 12.925.000.00!!
    apakah tidak ada keringanan??????

    lalu bagaimana dengan mahasiswa 2010 yang splnya dua kali lipat itu.
    apakah ada keadilan dan kebijakan?????????????
