Siswa kelas XII SMA/MA/SMK yang terakreditasi C juga berhak mengikuti Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SNMPTN) 2011 alur Undangan. Kesempatan itu diberikan kepada 10% siswa yang memiliki prestasi akademik terbaik di sekolahnya.
“Sebelumnya, Jalur Undangan diprioritaskan bagi siswa kelas XII pada sekolah berakreditasi A dan B yang duduk di peringkat 25% terbaik,” kata Ketua Panitia SNMPTN 2011 Herry Suhardiyanto dalam mailing list humas panitia, Minggu (30/1).
Dia mengatakan, perubahan tersebut untuk mengakomodasi masukan para kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, dan orang tua siswa selama sosialisasi.  “Siswa sekolah akreditasi C dapat disertakan dalam proses undangan. Hanya, dibatasi maksimum 10%,” ujarnya.
Berdasarkan Permendiknas Nomor 34/2010, mekanisme penerimaan mahasiswa baru PTN 2011 dilakukan dengan pola seleksi nasional melalui jalur ujian tertulis/keterampilan dan jalur undangan. Jalur undangan baru kali pertama dilaksanakan. Sebelumnya, tahun 2010 hanya ada ujian tertulis/keterampilan.

Siswa Akselerasi

Kepada siswa pelamar dari sekolah berakreditasi A dan B, panitia juga memberikan persyaratan khusus.   “Untuk sekolah akreditas A kelas akselerasi, semua siswanta dapat diikutsertakan melalui jalur undangan. Sedangkan untuk sekolah akreditasi A kelas Rintisan Sekolah Berstandar Internasional (RSBI)/Unggulan, sebanyak 75% siswa terbaik,” imbuhnya.
Untuk akreditasi A kelas reguler, sebanyak 50% siswa terbaik. Sementara untuk sekolah akreditasi B, sebanyak 25% siswa terbaik.
“Formula persyaratan siswa pelamar dan persyaratan sekolah yang lebih lengkap untuk memberikan kesempatan bagi para siswa kelas 12 itu masuk melalui jalur undangan,” tandasnya.
Adapun syarat sekolah yang dapat mengikuti jalur undangan adalah telah berakreditasi A, B, atau C dari Badan Akreditasi Nasional Sekolah/Madrasah dan atau terdaftar pada basis data SNMPTN 2010.
SNMPTN 2011 akan diikuti oleh sebanyak 60 PTN di Indonesia. Daya tampung nasional sebanyak 165.034 kursi terdiri atas jalur undangan sebanyak 53.850 (33%) dan jalur ujian tertulis/keterampilan sebanyak 111.184 atau 67%.

Terpisah, Ketua Panitia Lokal Semarang Agus Wahyudin mengatakan, pihaknya menyambut baik perubahan tersebut. “Prinsipnya, memberikan kesempatan lebih luas kepada mereka yang benar-benar Potensial. Sebab, jalur undangan ini hamper sama dengan PMDK. Hanya, pengelolaannya yang terpusat,” katanya.

Sebelumnya saat sosialisasi di depan ratusan kepala sekolah di kampus Unnes, Kamis (27/1), dia menyatakan siswa dari sekolah terakreditasi A dan B yang akan mendapatkan prioritas. “Namun dengan perubahan ini, perioritas itu pun berubah,” kata Pembantu Rektor Bidang Akademik Unnes ini.

Dia juga mengatakan, informasi mekanisme penerimaan mahasiswa baru melalui jalur undangan dapat dilihat pada laman www.snmptn.ac.id. Pendaftaran SNMPTN jalur undangan pada 1 Februari-12Maret 2011.
Pengumuman pada 18 Mei 2011. Adapun registrasi mahasiswa baru pada 31 Mei dan/atau 1 Juni 2011. Pendaftaran dapat dilaksanakan melalui laman http://undangan.snmptn.ac.id.

    Klau seumpama nilai rata2 siswa yg sklhx terakreditasi A 70 sedangkan siswa satux mempunyai rata2 75 tp sklhx terakreditasi B, kemungkinan yg bisa diterima yg mana??
