Dosen dan mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) berkolebari menggelar pameran seni rupa dengan dosen dan mahasiswa Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) Malaysia.

Karya mereka dipamerkan dalam Pameran Seni Rupa Antarbangsa yang diadakan 10 hingga 12 Mei 2016 di Galeri B9 Jurusan Seni Rupa Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni (FBS) Unnes.

Ada berbagai tema, jenis karya, dan media bahan sebanyak 58 karya dipamerkan dalam pameran antar bangsa ini. Hasil karya yang dipamerkan pada pameran seni rupa biasanya dikumpulkan dengan cara seleksi.

Pada saat membuka acara ini Dekan FBS Prof Dr Agus Nuryatin MHum menyampaikan,”Pameran antar bangsa ini sangatlah menarik dan ke depan perlu dilanjutkan, harapan kedepan mahasiswa Seni Rupa FBS bisa berpameran di Malaysia”.

Muriza Mustafa dosen pembimbing dari UPSI mengungkapkan,”Pameran ini cukup menarik dan unik, banyak sekali memberikan ispirasi untuk membuat karya yang lebih menarik”.

“Dari Unnes banyak sekali memamerkan karya seni yang masih natural dengan karya realis, sedangkan dari Malaysia memamerkan karya seni dengan gaya modern. Jadi paduan dari dua gaya ini jika dipadukan akan menghasilkan karya yang fantastis,” katanya.

Dalam kesempatan ini Prof Dr Tjetjep Rohendi Rohidi MA memberikan gambaran dan motifasi kepada mahasiswa kedua bangsa,”Dalam berkarya harus mempunyai potensi yang baik dan cepat dalam mengexplorasikan dalam bentuk karya dalam media apapun”, pungkasnya.
