seratus tujuh puluh lima dosen dan mahasiswa di bidang teknik mengikuti Seminar International Engineering International Conference (EIC), Kamis (21/11) di Hotel Pandanaran Semarang.

Tidak hanya peserta dari Indonesia, seminar bertajuk Renewable Resource And Intelligent Technology yang diselenggarakan oleh Fakultas Teknik (FT) Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) ini diikuti oleh beberapa peserta dari luar negeri.

Ketua Panitia seminar Dr Megawati MT menjelaskan, tujuan seminar ini untuk merintis kerja sama dan tukar menukar hasil penelitian di bidang engineering, “diantaranya teknik mesin, teknik elektro, teknik sipil, arsitektur, jasa dan produksi, serta teknik kimia”, kata dosen Teknik Kimia FT itu.

Tiga (3) orang pembicara dari luar negeri menjadi nara sumber pada topik yang berkaitan dengan tema tersebut, yakni Prof Azah Mohamed dari Universitas Kebangsaan Malaysia, Prof Mark Bottema dari Flinders University Australia, dan Prof Jason Yu dari Nasional Kaoshsiung First University of Science and Technology Taiwan.

“Seminar yang dibuka oleh Pembantu Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan Prof Dr Masrukhi ini juga merupakan kegiatan yang sangat mendukung tercapainya internasionalisasi Unnes”. Kata Megawati.
