Sebanyak 27 Pegawai Negeri Sipil Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) disumpah oleh Rektor
Prof Fathur Rokhman MHum, Kamis (10/9) di Rektorat kampus Sekaran Gunungpati. Mereka yang diangkat sebagai PNS tersebut menjalankan tugas sebagai dosen di lingkungan Unnes.

Ketika memberi pengarahan, Rektor meminta agar dosen memiliki kelebihan dan mampu berkomunikasi dengan baik kepada pimpinan, mitra kerja, dan masyarakat. Saat ini komunikasi diukur dengan jenjang yang diraih, semakin tinggi jenjang yang diraih maka tingkat komunikasinya akan meluas.

“Ketika anda bercita-cita menjadi seorang guru besar, maka komunikasi anda bukanlah komunikasi lokal saja tapi di wilayah internasional melalui publikasi karya-karya anda di tingkat internasional,” katanya.

Menurut Prof Fathur, pengambilan sumpah/janji jabatan merupakan peristiwa langka hanya dialami satu kali. Tidak hanya itu, janji yang diucapkan harus ditepati karena disaksikan oleh seluruh isi alam dan oleh Allah.

“Sumpah atau janji anda akan ditagih sepanjang hidup anda dan juga akan ditagih oleh Allah. Oleh karena itu, sejauh mana anda memegang sumpah atau janji anda dalam mengimplementasikan pada kinerja, dan nilai kesuksesan yang akan Anda raih,” tegasnya.

Penandatanganan sumpah pegawai, disaksikan Pembantu Rektor Bidang Administrasi Umum Dr S Martono, Kepala Biro Administrasi Umum dan Kepegawaian Anwar Haryono MPd, serta pejabat di lingkungan Unnes.
