Sebagian dari pejabat di negeri ini memiliki kecenderungan sebagai “Petruk Dadi Ratu”.

Penilaian tersebut dikemukakan oleh Ketua Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) Busyro Muqoddas saat menjadi pembicara Seminar Nasional “Reposisi Keluhuran Budaya dan Martabat Bangsa Menuju Tatanan Masyarakat yang Adil dan Humanis”, Rabu (27/4), di Unnes kampus Sekaran. Tampil pula dalam seminar yang dibuka Rektor Prof Sudijono Sastroatmodjo itu, Ketua Komisi Yudisial Prof Eman Suparman.

“Sebelum menjadi pejabat gayanya seperti Petruk, sosok rakyat jelata dalam dunia pewayangan. Tapi begitu diangkat jadi pejabat, gayanya langsung beda. Bajuanya safari, sakunya empat, bolpoinnya 12, seperti pedagang bolpoin saja,” kata Ketua KPK.
Kecenderungan tersebut, kata Busyro, tak lepas dari lemahnya tradisi kontrol dalam keluarga.

“Lemahnya tradisi kontrol merupakan salah satu akar penyebab korupsi di negeri ini,” katanya.

Lebih lanjut dikemukakan, akar penyebab korupsi lainnya adalah krisis identitas dan orientasi kemanusiaan, kegagalan pendidikan untuk membangun pribadi jujur dan sederhana, serta aktualiasasi agama terlalu noramatif dan teralienasi dari permasalahan kemiskinan ekonomi dan sosial budaya. “Selain itu, proses-proses politik yang koruptif, seperti yang terjadi dalam pemilihan presiden, pemilihan umum, dan pemilihan kepala daerah,” katanya.

Pada bagian lain, Ketua Komisi Yudisial Prof Eman Suparman mengemuakakan peran penting profesi hakim. “Hakim yang diharapkan sebagai benteng terakhir untuk mewujudkan terpenuhinya rasa keadilan bagi masyarakat melalui putusan-putusannya ternyata juga menjadi salah satu pihak yang berkontribusi terhadap buruknya penegakan hukum itu sendiri,” katanya.
