Begitulah yel-yel yang diteriakkan 300  peserta pembekalan Sarjana Mendidik di Daerah Terdepan, Terluar, dan Tertinggal (SM-3T) sambil mengepalkan tangan saat Rektor Unnes Prof Sudijono Sastroatmodjo beserta rombongan memasuki ruang aula Balai Diklat Provinsi di Srondol, Kamis malam (8/12).

Dalam kesempatan itu Rektor berpesan kepada peserta pembekalan bahwa akses di berbagai wilayah 3T belum sebaik kota-kota besar, khususnya di Jawa. “Kalian diperlukan sebagai pejuang, kepanjangtanganan pemerintah untuk menjadi jembatan agar memiliki akses dengan dunia pendidikan yang lebih luas. Kehadiran Saudara di daerah tujuan diharapkan bisa membangun komunitas yang harmoni dengan keragaman yang ada,” kata Rektor.

Tak hanya itu, Rektor juga berpesan agar mereka tangguh menghadapi situasi apa pun. SM-3T dinyatakan gagal jika peserta yang dikirim ke wilayah Aceh Besar, Ende, dan Manggarai (NTT) meminta pulang sebelum waktu kontrak selesai. “Jangankan minta pulang, bila sebelum batas akhir Saudara sudah menangis meratapi kesedihan, Saudara dinyatakan gagal,” tegas Prof Sudijono.

Salah satu peserta pun menimpali,  “Nangis bahagia…”

Spontan Rektor pun menjawab, “Ya…  Ya… Ya… Itu bagus! Ternyata di Semarang tidak lebih baik dari di Aceh. Alhamdulillah, silakan Saudara menangis untuk kebahagian,” ujarnya.

Rektor mengatakan, menurut informasi panitia, di beberapa tempat handphone tidak akan berguna karena daerah tempat mengajar begitu pelosok dan tidak terdapat sinyal telepon seluler. “Nanti kalau mendapat tempat seperti itu, janganlah bersedih karena Saudara sudah berniat untuk mengabdi ke wilayah 3T,” tandasnya.

Selama 12 hari mereka diberi bekal tentang kondisi keseharian yang akan dihadapi. Bekal itu sebagai daya dukung untuk beradaptasi dengan masyarakat setempat dan lebih memantapkan diri untuk mengabdi kepada Ibu Pertiwi.

Bayu Wijanarko, alumnus Pendidikan Biologi Unnes 2011 yang akan diterjunkan di wilayah Ende, Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) mengatakan, selama pembekalan banyak manfaat yang ia dapat. “Kami merasakan semangat nasionalisme, kedisiplinan, dan kebanggaan sebagai pendidik Indonesia,” katanya.

Dia juga berharap ketika mengabdi di Ende, bisa membuka wawasan siswa agar lebih maju dalam dunia pendidikan.

Sebelumnya peserta diberi pembekalan ketahanmalangan oleh personil Rindam IV Magelang. Salah satu hal yang diajarkan adalah mengenali buah dan tumbuhan yang bisa atau tidak bisa dikonsumsi.

    insya Allah di Aceh, Ende, dan Manggarai semuanya akan memberikan kita pengalaman yang luar biasa yang tidak akan pernah didapat jika kita hanya mengabdi di wilayah asal..
    aku di Aceh pun bersyukur… ada tempat buat mengaji (di Pondok Pesantren) juga… lumayan… bisa sekaligus untuk tempat tinggal + mengaji, hee..

    apakah transferan uang bulanan juga akan lancar? atau apakah akan dirapel di akhir kontrak?
