PT Pos Indonesia Kantor Divisi Regional (Divre) VI Jawa Tengah dan Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) menyerahkan bantuan Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) untuk Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes).

Bantuan diserahkan oleh Kepala Divre VI Jateng dan DIY Maman Suherman kepada Ketua Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LP2M) Unnes, Drs Bambang Budi Rahardjo MSi. Penyerahan itu disaksikan Rektor Unnes Prof Sudijono Sastroatmodjo di gedung Rektorat kampus Sekaran, Selasa (20/12).

Kegiatan dikemas dalam bentuk silaturahmi pimpinan PT Pos Indonesia dengan Pimpinan Unnes. Pada kesempatan itu hadir pula Pembantu Rektor Bidang Akademik (PR I) Agus Wahyudi MSi, Pembantu Rektor Bidang Pengembangan dan Kerjasama (PR IV) Prof Fathur Rokhman, Dekan, Direktur PPs, Kepala Lembaga, Biro, Badan, dan UPT di lingkungan universitas konservasi.

Sedangkan perwakilan dari pihak PT Pos Entis Sulisna Direktur SDM dan Umum PT Pos Indonesia, Agus Suhanda Vice President Bina Lingkungan, Natsir Kadir Senior Manajer SDM Keuangan dan Sarana Divre VI, Suryadi Kepala Kantor Pos Semarang, Andi Hertiyanto Manajer Pengelolaan Penjualan, Sugeng Priyono Manajer Umum, dan Staf di lingkungannya.

“Silaturahmi ini mudah-mudahan dapat memberikan manfaat untuk negeri tercinta kita,” kata Rektor Unnes Prof Sudijono Sastroatmodjo.

Rektor juga mengemukakan, kegiatan ini merupakan kegiatan lanjutan yang sebelumnya sudah ditandatangani nota kesepahaman (MoU) beberapa bulan lalu. MoU tersebut di antaranya adalah pengiriman Kartu Rencana Studi (KRS) kepada orang mahasiswa sebagai laporan.

“Siapa pun tamu yang datang ke Unnes merupakan berkah bagi kampus konservasi termasuk PT Pos Indonesia ini. Kerja sama dalam bentuk apapun sangat kami nantikan demi kemajuan bersama,” ujar Rektor.

Kepala Divre VI Jateng dan DIY Maman Suherman mengatakan, kegiatan ini sebetulnya sudah tertunda cukup lama, namun baru kesempatan ini bisa terlaksana. “Penyerahan bantuan ini merupakan suatu keharusan bagi suatu intitusi di lingkungan Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) untuk mengaplikasikan sosialnya bagi masyarakat sekitar,” katanya.

Itulah kelakar Maman Suherman menirukan anak muda sekarang. “Memang saya akui, kirim SMS dengan teknologi canggih tidak menjadi masalah. Namun apakah jika mengirimkan berkas bisa lewat SMS? Kondisi sekarang kiriman kami 75 % berasal dari institusi dan 25 % nya baru dari masyarakat atau individu,” tandasnya.

Dia menambahkan, saat ini layanan wesel tidak lagi seperti dulu dengan secarik kertas yang mungkin datangnya sampai penerima berminggu-minggu bahkan sampai sebulan. “Kini, di kantor Pos sudah menggunakan teknologi canggih dalam pengiriman. Misalkan dari kantor pos cabang Unnes katakanlah mengirim ke Jayapura, kemudian si penerima mendapat SMS dan nomor PIN. Dalam hitungan menit, uang pengiriman bisa dicairkan si penerima,” kata Maman.

“Sampai kapan pun, PT Pos akan terus berbenah seiring kemajuan teknologi sehingga tetap dinikmati masyarakat Indonesia,” pungkasnya.
