Pramuka merupakan salah satu elemen penting untuk terus mengawal moralitas bangsa serta keberlanjutan pembangunan nasional yang dilandasi nilai-nilai dan falsafal Pancasila sebagai dasar negara Indonesia.

Demikian dikatakan Pembamtu Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan (PR III) Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) Prof Masrukhi saat membuka The 4th Senior Rover Scout Creativity se-Indonesia yang diselenggarakan oleh Racana Wijaya Unnes, Jumat (15/6, di lapangan sepak bola Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan kampus Sekaran.

“Saat ini permasalahan yang dihadapi bangsa Indonesia terkait dengan krisis nilai di masyarakat, yakni nilai-nilai kejujuran dan rasa hormat-menghormati nyaris hilang. Kehadiran pramuka dengan nilai-nilai yang diajarkan diharapkan mampu mengawal permasalahan yang kini dihadapi generasi muda Indonesia, seperti penyalahgunaan narkoba, seks bebas, dan kekerasaan,” kata Pembantu Rektor III Unnes.

Dia juga mengemukakan, Unnes telah mendeklarasikan diri sebagai Universitas Konservasi. “Konservasi itu adalah nilai kecintaan kita untuk terus memelihara, mengawasi, dan menggunakan secara bijak terhadap sumber-sumber daya yang sesungguhnya adalah karunia Allah.”

Masrukhi menambahkan, berbagai fasilitas yang dimiliki Unnes antara lain lapangan sepak bola, lapangan atletik, lapangan tonnis bisa dimanfaatkan dengan sebaik-baiknya selama kegiatan. “Khusus untuk tonnis, ini adalah permainan olahraga yang merakyat diciptakan oleh dosen Unnes. Permainan ini perpaduan antara badminton (bulutangkis) dan tonnis. Bolanya seperti bola tenis, raketnya dari kayu, lapangannya lapangan batminton. Lakukan kegiatan ini dengan penuh kegembiraan dan silaturahmi sebagai anak-anak bangsa.”

Agus Warsito selaku ketua reka karya mengatakan, The 4th Senior Rover Scout Creativity se-Indonesia dilaksanakan selama enam hari mulai Kamis sampai dengan Selasa (14-19 Juni) dengan tema “Pramuka Konservasi, Membentuk Karakter yang Peduli Terhadap Ibu Pertiwi”. Kegiatan diikuti 18 PTN/PTS antara lain IKIP PGRI Semarang, STIE BPD Semarang, Universitas Hasanuddin, STAIN Palangkaraya, Universitas Brawijaya, Universitas Pendidikan dan Sains (Bali), Unisma (Banten), dan STAIN Ponorogo.

Tujuan kegiatan ini, kata Agus, untuk mengembangkan rasa persaudaraan sesama anggota Racana serta meningkatkan rasa kesadaran kelestarian lingkungan, moral, dan budaya. Selain itu, menyampaikan pendapat serta gagasan dalam mengevaluasi peran pramuka sebagai pembentuk karakter.

Kegiatan juga bertujuan melaksanakan bakti berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip konservasi, berkompetisi secara sportif, menyalurkan serta mengembangkan minat dan bakat anggota pramuka di tingkat Racana yang berpangkalan di perguruan tinggi.

Agus Warsito juga mengemukakan peserta akan mengikuti serangkaian kegiatan lomba rancang bangun bumi perkemahan, lomba media pembelajaran, lomba fotografi, seminar, pelatihan siaga bencana, pelatihan komposting dan biopori, pelatihan permainan tonnis dan wood ball, golf, manajerial kampung budaya, manajerial sekolah luar biasa dan wisata (Tugu muda, Lawang Sewu, Museum Mandala Bahkti, Museum Nyonya Menir, dan Masjid Agung Jawa Tengah).
