Jangan menganggap remeh ketika membuat diskripsi diri dalam sertifikasi dosen. Mulai tahun 2011, Dikti menggunakan sistem full online. Jika peserta mencontek atau melakukan copy paste teks peserta lain, bisa kena sanksi 2 – 5 tahun, setelah itu baru dapat diusulkan kembali.

Hal itu dikatakan Prof Dr DYP Sugiharto MPd Kons pada sosialisasi penyusunan dokumen sertifikasi dosen Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) gelombang II di gedung rektorat lantai IV kampus Sekaran Gunungpati, Kamis (13/10). Kegiatan dibuka oleh Pembantu Rektor Bidang Akademik (PR I) Drs Agus Wahyudin MSi.

“Lembar diskripsi diri digunakan sebagai alat bagi dosen untuk menjelaskan keunggulan atau kebanggaan dosen atas prestasi dan kontribusinya dalam menjalankan sebagai dosen. Khususnya terkait dengan tridarma perguruan tinggi serta mengandung empat kompetensi, yakni kompetensi pedagogik, profesional, sosial, dan kepribadian,” Prof DYP.

Dia juga mengemukakan, berbagai aspek yang berkaitan dengan keempat kompetensi tersebut dinyatakan dalam bentuk kegiatan pengajaran/pembelajaran, penelitian, pengabdian kepada masyarakat, manajemen pendidikan, dan manajemen kemahasiswaan. “Sertifikasi dosen 2011 ini masih menggunakan portofolio sebagai ukuran budaya akademik dan profesionalisme dosen dengan tiga instrumen, yakni penilaian persepsional, diskripsi diri, dan angka kredit,” katanya.

Ketua BPTIK Sugiyanto MSi mengatakan, sertifikasi ini dilakukan secara full online mulai dari pengusulan, proses pembuatan portofolio, penilaian, hingga penyelesaian akhir (mencetak sertifikat).

“Dari 20.000 peserta serdos 2011 gelombang I dari berbagai perguruan tinggi ternyata ada 4.000 lebih terdeteksi oleh sistem sebagai pelaku menyontek atau plagiasi (duplikasi diskripsi diri).  Ternyata yang terindikasi sebagai plagiasi itu malah dosen-dosen doktor yang senior, dosen yunior tidak ada,” kata Sugiyanto.

“Setelah diidentifikasi melakukan plagiasi, ada 4 langkah yang harus dikerjakan. Pertama, perguruan tinggi pengusul (PTU) mengklarifikasi pada peserta, diskripsi dirinya menyontek atau tidak. Kedua, perguruan tinggi penilai juga menyimpulkan data yang teridentifikasi mirip atau tidak, dan ditambah lagi verifikasi oleh ahli bahasa. Apabila ada dua pihak yang menyatakan plagiasi maka peserta tadi tidak lulus dan kena sanksi 2 tahun. Tetapi jika peserta tadi naik banding, malah kena sanksi 5 tahun,” katanya.

Untuk itu, yang penting dilakukan adalah isian data personal harus sahih dan riwayat hidup hendaknya memadai, karena riwayat hidup akan ditampilkan ketika asesor menilai. Jadi kalau peserta menyusun diskripsi diri namun kegiatannya tidak ada di daftar riwayat hidup, pasti dinilai rendah. Diskripsi diri harus dibuat sendiri, tidak hasil orang lain baik sebagian maupun seluruhnya. “Hindarilah membaca atau mengoleksi dokumen portofolio milik orang lain karena berpotensi untuk merusak deskripsi diri sendiri,” katanya.

Ngabiyanto selaku ketua panitia melaporkan, berdasarkan data Dikti, 127 dosen dinominasikan sebagai peserta sertifikasi, namun sebagian besar sedang menjalankan studi langjut S3 tugas belajar. “Setelah melalui seleksi administratif normatif yang memenuhi syarat 25 orang. Selanjutnya setelah diverifikasi oleh Rektor, yang diusulkan 24 orang.”
