Dalam rangka memperingati Dies Natalis ke-53 Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), Civitas Akademika UNNES menyelenggarakan 53 kali Khataman Alquran di 12 Unit Kerja. Kegiatan dimulai sejak Jumat pagi (9/2) yang berpusat di Musala Rektorat UNNES.

Khataman Alquran yang dikemas dalam Nusantara Mengaji ini, merupakan agenda Dies Natalis ke-53 UNNES yang diikuti oleh pimpinan, dosen, tenaga kependidikan (tendik), dan mahasiswa UNNES.

Ketua Panitia Drs Anwar Haryono MPd melaporkan, kegiatan diselenggarakan secara serentak di 14 tempat yang berbeda.

“Pusatnya ada di Musala Rektorat, delapan di masing-masing fakultas dengan dua tempat tambahan dari Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan (FIP) di Karanganyar dan Tegal, Pascasarjana, Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (LP2M), dan Lembaga Pengembangan Pendidikan dan Profesi (LP3),” jelas Anwar.

Dalam sambutannya, Rektor UNNES Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman Mhum berpesan untuk tetap istiqomah dalam melakukan ijtihad.

“Khataman Alquran ini merupakan bagian dari ijtihad. Mereka yang mengawali kebaikan disebut telah melakukan ijtihad. Melalui ijtihad inilah, Allah melipatgandakan pahala umat islam. Pahala tersebut akan terus berlipat sepanjang istiqomah tetap terjaga,” jelas Rektor.

Berkaitan dengan Alquran, tambah Rektor, sangat bijak bila meneguhkannya ke dalam pembangunan sumber daya manusia di UNNES. Alquran menjadi pedoman kehidupan bagi seluruh manusia terutama bagi umat muslim.

“Mari bersama-sama, kita bangun kampus dan negeri tercinta ini melalui karya-karya yang positif. Berangkat dari Dies Natalis ke-53 ini, kita suguhkan karya dari UNNES untuk Indonesia,” pungkas Profesor bidang Sosiolinguistik itu.

Sebagai tambahan informasi, diagendakan Dies Natalis ke-53 UNNES akan dihadiri oleh Presiden Joko Widodo, beberapa menteri kabinet, dan alim ulama nusantara.
