Perguruan tinggi negeri yang tidak segera menyediakan 20% bangku kuliahnya untuk mahasiswa miskin dan membebaskannya dari segala biaya kuliah akan mendapatkan sanksi dari Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan.

Penegasan tersebut disampaikan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Mendikbud) M Nuh seusai menjadi narasumber talk show Pos Pemberdayaan Keluarga (Posdaya) di auditorium Unnes, Senin (14/11). Acara yang dipandu Ketua Yayasan Damandiri Haryono Suyono tersebut juga dihadiri Menteri Koordinator Bidang Kesejahteraan Rakyat (Menkokesra) HR Agung Laksono dan Rektor Unnes Sudijono Sastroatmodjo.

Sanksi tersebut, menurut Mendikbud, mulai dari sanksi sosial, administratif, sampai sanksi finansial. “Masyarakat yang pertama-tama akan memberikan sanksi jika perguruan tinggi negeri abai terhadap ketentuan PP Nomor 66 Tahun 2010 yang mengatur persentase kursi kuliah dan beasiswa untuk warga miskin. Sanksi administratif, tentu saja, karena itu merupakan pelanggaran terhadap konstitusi. Dan jika PTN tidak tampak serius untuk melaksanakan amanat PP ini, Kemdikbud akan menyetop dana bantuan untuk PTN,” kata Mendikbud.

“Jangan sampai ada yang tidak kuliah karena tidak mampu. Setiap tahun pemerintah telah mengalokasikan dana Rp 100 triliun untuk keluarga miskin, dan 2/3 jumlah tersebut disalurkan dalam bentuk beasiswa Bidik Misi untuk mahasiswa baru,” kata M Nuh.

Pada kesempatan itu, Agung Laksono mengajak segenap mahasiswa sebagai generasi muda untuk bersama menanggulangi kemiskinan, berusaha secara cepat dalam menanggulangi bencana, dan meningkatkan daya saing bangsa Indonesia. “Kemakmuran negara bisa diawali dari keluarga. Dalam hal ini, pemberdayaan keluarga yang telah dilakukan pemerintah bersama dengan perguruan tinggi sebagai salah satu elemen penting,” katanya. Dalam kesempatan itu juga dipamerkan stan Posdaya dari berbagai binaan di Jawa Tengah.

Sebelum hadir di auditorium, Menkokesra bersama Mendikbud dan Rektor Unnes meresmikan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) Sekar Nagari Unnes. “PAUD ini merupakan hasil kerjasama Dharma Wanita Persatuan Unnes dengan BNI,” kata Pemimpin Umum BNI Cabang Pembantu Unnes Hazairin Bakri. Peresmian yang ditandai dengan penandatanganan prasasti oleh Menkokesra dilanjutkan penanaman pohon di lokasi yang sama.

Pada akhir acara Rektor Unnes menerima penghargaan dari Museum Rekor Dunia-Indonesia (Muri) sebagai perguruan tinggi pertama dengan alokasi beasiswa 20%. Upaya Unnes mewujudkan 20% bangku kuliah tanpa biaya untuk mahasiwa yang berasal dari keluarga tidak mampu merupakan amanat yang tidak bisa ditunda lagi. “Mulai tahun ini Unnes berhasil mewujudkan hal tersebut berkat topangan beasiswa Bidik Misi dari Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan serta dana setia kawan Beasiswa Masyarakat,” kata Sudijono Sastroatmodjo.

    aslkm bapak, untuk s2 adakah beasiswa 20% tersebut???tolong dijawab nggih.karena banyak juga yang sebenarnya mengharapkan ada beasiswa untuk s2.selama ini kebayakan beasiswa s2 di peruntukan untuk pegawai saja.terimakasih
