Pentas wayang kolaborasi Kridha Pandu Dewanata memperingati Dies Natalis ke-52 Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), digelar di Kampung Budaya, kampus Sekaran, Gunungpati, Kota Semarang, Jumat, 7 April 2017 malam. Pementasan tersebut melibatkan ratusan penampil yang terdiri atas dosen, mahasiswa, tenaga kependidikan, mahasiswa, hingga alumnus kampus Berwawasan Konservasi dan Bereputasi Internasional ini.

Selain wayang kulit yang menampilkan dalang Ki Widodo (Ketua Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Jawa Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni UNNES) dan Ki Nugrahasto (mahasiswa Sastra Jawa FBS UNNES), pementasan berdurasi tiga jam sejak pukul 21.00 itu menyajikan tari, seni karate, dan musik campursari.

Rektor Prof Fathur Rokhman dalam sambutannya sebelum acara dimulai mengatakan, tahun ini, kampus sengaja tidak menghadirkan dalang kenamaan untuk memeriahkan puncak acara Dies Natalis, seperti dilakukan tahun-tahun sebelumnya. “Kami ingin menampilkan potensi milik kampus. Sumberdaya dan sarana sudah sangat memadai. Semua ini mendukung tahun reputasi yang kita canangkan,” kata profesor sosiolinguistik kelahiran Banyumas ini.

Ia menyebut produk seni yang ditampilkan kampus ini telah mengambil perhatian dunia. Hal itu terbukti, misalnya, kesenian UNNES pernah pentas di beberapa negara dan sering pentas dalam berbagai acara di luar kampus. “Bahkan, beberapa waktu lalu ada tamu undangan pada upacara Dies Natalis yang terkesan pada karawitan dan tari yang kita bawakan. Beliau akan mengundang dalam salah satu acara penting yang akan diselenggarakan,” ujarnya.

Pentas wayang kolaborasi dihadiri wakil rektor, kepala lembaga, dekan, wakil dekan, unsur pimpinan, dosen, mahasiswa, dan masyarakat sekitar kampus. Pada akhir acara, Prof Fathur memberikan satu buah sepeda kepada mahasiswa yang menjawab sejumlah pertanyaan yang ia berikan terkait lakon yang dipentaskan dan seputar kampus.

Penanggung jawab pementasan yang juga Wakil Dekan I FBS UNNES, Prof M Jazuli mengatakan, pementasan melibatkan sedikitnya 150 orang. Pentas disutradarai oleh dosen Seni Tari Bintang Hanggoro Putro. Musik ditata oleh Sugiyanto, dosen tidak tetap/luar biasa di Prodi Seni Musik.

Jazuli mengatakan lakon yang dibawakan mengusung pesan filosofis yang sangat mendalam, yaitu mengenai hasta brata atau delapan sifat yang mesti dimiliki seorang pemimpin. Kedelapan sifat itu adalah matahari, bumi, bulan, samudera, bintang, angin, api, dan air.

Bintang Hanggoro Putro mengatakan, pementasan di sisi lain menjadi sarana mempromosikan Kampung Budaya. Ia menyebut tempat ini bisa dimanfaatkan masyarakat untuk menyelenggarakan berbagai acara, seperti halnya gedung UTC milik UNNES di Jalan Kelud Raya, Kota Semarang.
